Misfortunes
"Asan na yun?" Sambit ko sa sarili habang kinakalkal ang bag ko.
"No more papers?" Tanong ng research teacher namin.
"Saglit lang po, sir." Sigaw ko at hinanap ang case study sa bag ko.
"Are you sure you have it?" Tanong ulit ni Sir sakin.
"Sir, naiwan ko po yata. Can I pass it tomorrow? Please?" I plead.
"No. Today is the last submission and I won't give any extensions. Rules are rules Ms. Penelope Grendel."
Napasimangot nalang ako na lumabas ng room. Swear! Dala-dala ko naman yung case study ko kanina bago ako pumasok. That case study is our finals' project! Ano nalang ang grade ko pag wala 'yon? Baka naiwan ko lang sa kotse ko. Tumakbo ako papuntang parking lot sa kabilang side ng university but a very unfortunate event happened.
The gardener of the school thought I'm one of the plants and sprayed the faucet on my face. I'm sure it was an accident but I'm really in a bad mood right now for another problem.
"Ahh!" Napasigaw nalang ako ng tumutok sakin iyong faucet na hawak niya.
"Ay, sorry po ma'am. Hindi ko po kayo nakita." Pagpapa-umanhin ng gardener at pinatay ang hose na hawak nito.
"Kulay green naman po yung mga halaman diba? Panong hindi niyo ko nakita eh, nakaputi po ako." I'm really mad right now pero nagtitimpi lang ako. Ayoko namang maging bastos dahil mas matanda siya sakin.
"Sorry po talaga."
"Urg!! Kaasar ka naman manong eh!" Naiinis na sambit ko at pinunasan ang mukha kong basang-basa. I left the stupid gardener and went to my car. Binuksan ko ang pintuan at ipinasok ang kalahati ng katawan ko sa kotse. I looked around the car and saw nothing. Asan na ba kasi yun?!
"Sh*t!" I cursed from shocked when someone slapped my ass.
"I've never seen you so wet like this, Penelope." Adam said while looking at me up and down. I closed the door and faced him. Lumapit siya sakin at hinawakan ang bewang ko palapit sa kaya.
"Get. Your. Hands. Off. Me." I warned with gritted teeth. Adam is known of being a pervert and I'm not planning to get abused by him.
"Oh no, I've been dying to touch you all day." He smirked and licked his lips. Gross. I feel like I wanna punch him in the face but my hands are trapped in my sides. I looked at Adam disgusted and tried to push him.
"Bitawan mo nga ako!"
"I know you like it."
"Gross. Over my dead body!" I yelled with a disgusted look. Adam is good looking, no doubt with that but he is a total jackass! He's probably banging a girl every now and then. In the empty room, janitor closet and any empty spaces. I'm not overreacting.
Hahaplusin sana niya ang pisngi ko pero bigla nalang siyang nawala sa harapan ko at humandusay sa sahig. Hinablot pala siya ni Maddox palayo sakin. Napatakip nalang ako ng bibig nang suntukin siya ulit ni Maddox.
"The girl doesn't like your company. Can't you see that? Are you blind, huh?" Maddox shout and gave Adam another punch in the jaw.
You read it right. Its the famous Maddox Preston, throwing punches at poor Adam, for me? We're not even close. We never talked. Poor Adam, Maddox is known because of his anger issues. Maddox looses his temper easily and no one can calm him down.
"Tama na yan!" Sigaw ko sa kanilang dalawa nang mapansin kong mawawalan na ng malay si Adam.
Sa laki ba naman ng katawan ni Maddox, talagang walang laban si Adam sa kanya.
