Tris Pedrad Dauntless Born

Chapter 7

Time skips to end of initiation:

Four POV:
I'm so excited, today we get the rankings and i just hope i don't have to leave. I never thought it but i kind of feel like i could fit in Dauntless and i made great friends.
I snap out of my daze and quickly shower befor i walk to the pit. On my way i meet Tris and her boyfriend jon. Ugh! I just don't like this guy. He just annoys me, probably because he is together with Tris. I have to admit i have a small crush on tris but maybe this is the way you feel about good friends. Tris quickly hugs me and we finish the way not talking. When we reach the pit zeke greats me along with Shauna. Uriah suddenly bursts out of one of the halls with a couple of dauntless behind him. I wonder what he did this time... he runs directly towards us and stands behind zeke. The dauntless spot him here and walk towards us. Zeke says something to them and they walk away still angry but calmed a little bit. I didn't hear what he said but tris aperently did cause right now she is cracking up with laughter. While i just adore her laughing Jon stares on the bud of some random girl. Such an idiot. Has the beautifulst girlfriend and stares at other girls. Tris doesn't seem to notice though because she is still laughing along with Zeke. I just step a little bit closer to say something to tris when suddenly lynn and Marlene come to both sides of tris and pull her away in the crowd of people. Zeke gets over to me and asks: "hey bud, you nervous?" "You're not?" "Naah why would i be?" I just roll my eyes but still laugh. Then Max steps up on the podium and taps the microphone and then speeks up: "welcome to the presentation of the ranks of this initiation..." i don't listen anymore i just keep glancing at tris who i spotted at the front. She is laughing and whispering but suddenly she looks in my direction and our looks meet. I quickly look away blushing. Then i hear max say: "but i know the rankings is what everyone is waiting for..." with that the rankings apear:
1. FOUR Oh my god! I'm first????? I scan the board for more names:
1. Four
2. Eric ugh!
3. Zeke
4. Lauren
5. Shauna
6. Claire
7. May
8. Simon
9. Luca
10. Marie
I cheer along with zeke and shauna and the other initiates when suddenly uri and tris tackle zeke with a hug. "You made it!" They scream at the same time before they also hug me and Shauna. I just smile stupidly and think: i can't believe i acctually made it into dauntless and everything just with Tris's help!
"Thank you." I say to tris. "Ehh what for?" She asks. "For helping me with fighting." "Ohh yeah of course. You became an amazing fighter but it took me long enough." She says with a laugh "Thanks and yeah... i were really bad."
***flashback***
Tris and I are now already training for 1 hour and i feel like i haven't aproved at all. For the hunderest time she shows me how to block punches but i still don't get it. She sighs and stands infront of me: "alright you have to hold your arms like this..." she pulls one infront of my face and the other one a little bit lower, then she moves them a little bit more diagonal. She shows me how to stand and throws the first punch which i block, then another and another and i block all of them. After a few more i throw my arms up and cheer but just then tris punches me in the stomach. I wince and she says: "shit didn't see that your arms were up..." "i'm fine." "Sure?" I nod but she still places a hand on my stomach when she touches me my whole body tenses but it still doesn't feel like anyother touch. It was special. She looks up at me and for a while we just stand there looking into eachother eyes. Suddenly she pulles back her hand and the moment is over. After that we just keep practising.
***end of flashback***
I get pushed into reality by zeke calling my name. "What?" I ask "want to come and play candor or dauntless?" "Sure." And with that we all leave.
