Luke glared down at me, "I mean, I wanted to ask if you'd like to come to LA with me. I have to go back soon and I want to be able to take you, so we'd go early, then when I actually have stuff to do, you can come back home again."

I raised my eyebrows, "LA? I can't afford LA."

Luke laughed, "I'm paying, besides I already brought the ticket." Luke grinned, grabbing me by the back of my neck and connecting our lips. "Is that a yes?" Luke whispered when I'd kissed back.

"It's a yes but I'm paying you back."

"You don--"

"Not with money." I whispered against his lips.
