Stuck On You

~Ellie~

For Salt Lake City, six bands including us are doing the show. That is Black Veil Brides, 3Oh!3, Blood On the Dance Floor, All Time Low, and Blessthefall. It would be fun to all go the fair and have fun. While waiting to arrive, I’ve been face timing Andy.

“So. How’s my little rookie band doing?” he asks.

“Band? Excellent. Lead singer? Somewhat okay. Ellie Schmitt? Absolute shit.”

“So as a band member and lead singer, you’re okay. But as a person it’s terrible?”

“Yup. Pretty much.” He shifts in his position on the couch. CC and Ashley are in the kitchen. You can barely make out Jinxx’s ass crack.

“Why?” he asks. For him to now be able to legally drink, I wish he was doing more of that than asking and being so sensitive.

“I did something I shouldn’t have done. And now I feel guilty.”

“You cheated?” he asked. I gave him a confused look. “I’m really good at reading faces. That’s why Juliet can never hide anything from me.” I bite my lip, looking away from Andy. But I nod. Out of the corner of my eye I see him shake his head.

“Normally, I would say tell him. But this time, don’t.” he gives me a stern look. “It would, no; it will bring this whole tour apart. Just think about it. You made Vic upset, he performs badly. You’re caught in a scandal between Pierce the Veil and your band mate Ryan. You get the title Band Whore back.” That is so true. Geez, he’s younger than me, but yet smarter. “Bands will start to take sides, and honestly, I would be on your side. But that’s not the point. Bands take sides and soon they are all fighting. Do you really want that?” I shook my head. We were only about two weeks into the tour.

“No.” he smiled.

“Good. Now, promise me no more hook ups.” He put his pinkie to the screen.

“Promise.” I put my pinkie on the screen.

“If you break this promise, I’ll tell your brother.” I nodded. Something I didn’t need happening.

“Hey, I gotta go. But see you when we arrive?” he questioned. I nod. I ended the face time call and stared at my bank screen. I opened the curtain and looked at the moving road beneath me. my phone began to ring, snapping me out of my trance. It was a face time call under the contact of Mexican BF

“Hey Vic.”

“Hey, sucks we both aren’t going to the State Fair.” He gives me a puppy dog look. I giggle a little.

“No. now I can focus. Hard to when a very cute Mexican is flaunting their stuff.” I wiggle my eyebrows at him.

~Vic~

I watch Ellie smile and laugh at my stupid jokes. Her eyes are sparkling so beautifully.

“Vic, Viiiiiiiic, Victor, Victorrrrrr.” I snap out of my trance and smile at her.

“Hey beautiful.”

“So. When’s the next time we’ll get together at a venue?” I check the schedule that was texted to everyone.

“The 22nd. At the Pomona fairplex.” She sighs.

“That’s a whole six days.” She pouts her lips. Ryan comes and plops himself next to her.

“Hi.” He says.

“Bye.” She gets up and walks away. She is now in her bunk. She sets the phone down so my only view is the ceiling. Jaime comes and sits next to me, handing me a beer.

“Thanks.” I down some of it while I hear rummaging. The occasional curse words until she pulled out a notebook. She opens it and writes some words down and closes it.

“Sorry bout that. had to write it down before I lost it.” I smile at her.

“No harm in that.”

“So, Vic, about writing a song together, uhm. Gosh, okay. We need a new single and I have a couple of things in mind. But I need unclean ad clean vocal. And I was wondering if you could do the, uhm, clean vocals?” she blushed heavily. Was she seriously asking me to be in a song with her? “Ugh. I knew this was a bad idea.” She murmurs.

“NO!” I yell. This earns me a few glances from Mike and Tony and one from Ellie. “I mean, duh! I would love to! But who’s doing the unclean vocals?”

“I don’t know yet. I was thinking it’s either between Andy, Austin, or Beau. I don’t really know.” Austin? That twat? Ha! As if! I didn’t let it show, but I really didn’t want her collaborating with Austin.

“HEY! We got vodka!” I can hear Miley yell in the background. Ellie’s face lit up with excitement. She turned to me and I laughed.

“Go ahead.” She smiled and ended the call. I went and downed the more beers. Tonight was gonna be a long night.

~Austin~

“Yes, is this Maria from Rise Records?”

“Please hold.” I groaned and slumped my head on the couch.

“So. How’d the talk go?” Tino asked.

“Well, it went well in my defense. Though he was a little shock to see me.”

“Well, what happened?” he asked, gripping my arm.

“Well……”

“What do you want Carlile?” I glanced at the ground. Remember, I am doing this for Ellie and I, just remember.

“I need to ask you something personal.” He gave me another look of surprise before stepping off the bus.

He sighs. “Sure.”

“So, you’re basically like a sister to Ellie right?” I ask.

“I mean, yeah. I’ve known her a while because of David, why?”

“I need relationship advice.” I sigh. It was sad I was coming to him for any relationship advice.

“Why don’t you ask Mitch?” it took all my might not to punch him in his god damn nose.

“He’s busy.” He shrugs his shoulders.

“Alright man. Hit me.” so I explained to him my whole situation and my feelings for her. I gave him a little bit about our past. I told him what Alan said and told him I was thinking about giving up.

“Man, you fucked up big time.” I shot my head up and glared at him. He laughed. “But, uh. Give her some time. You know. When’s the next tour date that you and her will be at the same venue?”

“The 24th. At Ventura fairgrounds.” I kicked the dirt from beneath my feet.

“Well, talk to her. then I don’t know, have fun with her at the fair. But remember, Alan is right.” I sighed even more. It was ten at night. We’re getting ready to leave.

“Thanks Ronnie.”

“Whatever.” And he slams the door shut.

“Asshole.” I muttered.

“Are you gonna do it?” Tino asks, snapping me out of my thought.

“Yeah. I mean, I want what’s best for her. And if for now Vic and space is, then I will give her space and I will give her Vic. I only want what’s best for her.”

“Man, you’re actually serious for once.” Which I’m never am, rarely. I kicked my feet up on the table and took a swig of beer.

“Yeah. She has that effect on me.”
