5 Years AgoCOURTNEY'S POV-
I ran down the street my feet pounding the asphalt. I have to get away from him! I thought frantically. All of a sudden I ran into something at first I thought it was a street lamp but I realized it was a man.
" Are you alright miss?" he asked a worried tone to his voice. I looked over my shoulder and shook my head no. " My name is Dr. Spencer Reid with the FBI. Who are you running from." I bit my lip.
" My boyfriend." I said. I tried to turn when I heard said abusive boyfriend call for me.
" Get back here you stupid slut!"Chase yelled. The movement of turning sent shots of pain through my side. I groaned and dropped to my knees.
" Ma'am! Ma'am!" Spencer Reid got to his knees beside me. " Morgan call 911! Ma'am. What's your name. miss?" His brown eyes looked truly worried.
" C-Cou-our-tney K-Kirk." I stuttered. The pain was too intense I blacked out.
3 days later///
I woke up to a strange room. Hospital, I realized. I looked around and saw Dr. Reid beside me.
" Welcome back Courtney. How are you feeling?" he asked. I groaned. " Don't worry your boyfriend will never hurt you again." I nodded blinking back tears.
" Thank you Dr. Reid." I said.
" Spencer, please, call me Spencer." He corrected. I smiled.

It had been2 yearssince that day and I was having lunch with my friends Alice and Blake. I had kept in contact with Spencer. Truth be told I was in love with him. I didn't tell him of course. I was singing with my radio.
" That ain't my perume. I bet she had a curfew. You told me you were out with the boys and baby I believed you." I sang loudly.
" When was the last time you talked to Dr. Reid?" Alice yelled over me and the music. I smiled.
" So why you looking so nervous, you knowyou probably deserve this. I oughta kill you right now and do the whole world a service." Alice rolled her eyes.
There was a knock on my door I jumped up and ran to seewho it was.It was Spencer. I opened it. " Hey Spence."
" Hey,Courtney." he said. " Look I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me tonight?" I bit my lip I HATED the idea of boyfriends since stupid Chase.But Spence did comeALL this way to ask and I owed/ loved him....
" I'd love that."I replied smiling.
" Great, I'll pick you up at 7." after he left i turned to Alice.
" In answer to your question the last time I spoke to Spencer was about 30 seconds ago." I laughed.
THE DATE
I had a great time with Spence.
" That was the best date I've been on Spence." I told him.
" It's the first I've been on."He saidblushing. I got lost gazing into his big brown eyes.
" I love you." I suddenly blurted out. I blushed. OMG did I really just say that! Spencer looked shock and then his warm lips crashed down on mine. I sighed and sunk into his arms.
That was3 years ago now I was dancing with Spence at our wedding reception.My head was on his chest and I couldn't stop smiling. All of a sudden my favorite song came on.
