"Hey babe."

"...."

"... What? Silent treatment?"

"I'm not in the mood today Sans. Just go away."

"...."

"I said go away."

"Was it... you know what?"

"Yeah."

"M... I'm sorry. Come here."

He hugged her. She sniffled and buried her face in the blue jacket she'd made for him. "Thank you."

"I don't deserve gratitude."

~

"All in all, I hate having him around."

You glanced at Tori. "I kinda guessed that."

She nodded. "Well, that's good. It means he must've to."

"Yeah, he did. You know, Tori...." You hesitated.

"Hm?"

"I have this... huuuuge house. Completely empty, expect for me."

She glanced at you. "I don't like where this is going."

"Sans could move in with me." You said nochanantly.

"No, no. I'm not putting his burden on your shoulders. Besides, he probably wants to stay with Frisk."

"We can ask him, but if he says yes then I'll totally let him move in."

Tori sighed, her hands stilling. "He is a couch jumper..."

You smiled. "I'll ask him for you."

Tori stared down. "Well... fine. Go ahead and ask."
She looked at her work. "The pie crust is done."

~

"Wait, so you actually want me to move in with you?"

You nodded at him. "It could be fun. New surroundings, less yelling from Tori...." You shrugged. "I'm also lonely."

He squinted at you. "Did Tori put you up to this?"

You shook your head. "She actually didn't want you to."

Sans sighed. Then looked down at his hands. "I guess. I mean, I don't wanna be a bother-"

"I deal with annoying five year olds constantly. Your good."

~

"Okay, well, I must talk to you first."

You smiled at Tori. "Hmm?"

"Sit down." She did, and you followed.

"What's wrong?"

Tori smiled softly. "Well, first, you need to know about Sans."

"Mhm....?"

Tori took a deep breath. "He's overly possessive, overly agressive, tells a lot of inappropriate jokes, kind of lude, locks himself in his room for days at a time, won't wash his jacket because he has a fear of washers, had an addiction to ice cream-"

You smiled painfully. "Okay! Okay, cut it short please."

"He's also funny."

You sighed. "Okay. I'll give him a ride."

"He has a thing about cars." Tori said.

Sans leaned over the couch. "It'll be fine."

You jumped. "JESUS christ! Could you not give me a heart attack?"

Sans chuckled. "Alright. When your ready, I am."

Tori looked between the two of you. "Are you two sure?"

Sans looked at you. You smiled at him. "Yeah. I'm sure."

Sans smiled back.
You stood up.

"Well, I'm ready. Tori, is Frisk gonna say bye?"

Tori shook her head. "No."

Sans nodded. "Alright. I'll come visit."

Tori didn't look like she liked that idea.

At the door, she stopped you. "(Y/n), Sans is a very sensative person. To anger, sadness, panic- try and take care of him. And if you ever get hurt, don't let him see it." She patted your shoulder.

~

You kept your eyes in the road as you said," pretty small bag."

He glanced down at it. "Yeah. I don't have much."

You didn't like the way he said it. "I'll change that." You muttered.

He glanced at you, giving you a strange look. "Oh?"

You blushed. "... so I had a question about your eye."

He smiled. "Which one?"

You tapped your right eye. "The closed one."

He nodded.

"Well, what happened? Were you born that way?"

He kind of winced when you said born. "No... it's only been like that since... a couple of years ago."

You frowned. "What happened?"

He looked out the window. "I got jumped."

"Oh. Alright. Well.... why did they-"

"I'd really rather not. Talk about it, I mean." He shrugged. "It wasn't a big deal. I had a friend patch me up good."

You smiled. "A friend?"

Sans kind of looked spacey as he said," a girl. A very nice girl. What's funny is that... well, we weren't friends until the night she patched me up."

"Hm? What, was she a nurse?"

"No. She was taking a walk in the rain. She had on her favorite rain coat, this cute, yellow one that was short. And she saw me, bleeding, and smiled. And she said the strangest thing."

You nodded.

"She looked up at me- she was really small, smaller than you- and she said,' don't be afraid, sir.'" He sighed.

You did to. "You talk about her like you love her."

"I did. But M is gone now."
