Chapter 29

Time skip~ Friday afternoon~

Garretts POV~

I look around the commons area holding Seths hand. Most classes had signed up to clean the school as volunteer work which unfortunately included my and Seths classes. I was exactly complaining, i got to spend more time with Seth which i was fine with but my teacher kept sending me off to do weird odd job.

"It will help with the work hours you need to graduate." Shed say and send me off smiling. I'd always quickly return to Seth as fast as i could. Now all the students from the three classes were just spread out in the cafeteria and library waiting for the bell telling us that we could go home and relax. Unless you was a senior. I sigh to myself thinking about the senior project. I six page paper, a power point explaining our topic, 40 note cards, 8 bib cards and many many other things that i didnt have the motivation to do.

"How long will you be?" Seth asks softly pulling me out of thought. "How long will you and the football team be gone on this trip?" He asks looking up at me. Shit, i had forgotten about that, how could i have forgotten the week long trip that i would be on next week.

"A week." I mumble thinking. "I should be back next Monday." I had joined the football team, if that wasnt obvious, and the day i had got accepted the coach had given me a permission slip to have Sherry to sign so i could go on this trip. I didnt understand why they would have tree different trips next week but the coach said it was to pump the team up for the up coming season, so i didnt argue and hey, im a teenager, a week out of school free of charge from getting in trouble sounded amazing.

"Oh, okay." Seth says quietly looking down.

"Hey, hey youll be fine." I say lifting his chin. He had been extremely happy all week until i told him about the trip, he seemed sad that i was leaving. It was adorable.

"I know, but Sam has been picking on me more then normal." He frowns in thought.

"Seth if he lays a finger on you ill knock him senseless, not that he has much sense anyways." Seth smiling and hugs my arm. The bell rings and he frowns again as we start walking to the bus. I stop him under the roof and kiss his cheek. "Have a good weekend, ill be back monday." I whisper into his ear before brushing my lips across his causing him to blush. I turn and walk toward my bus grinning.
