Reader's POV

The next day was chaotic. Teachers and students had been hurt, Kid was freaking out about how asymmetrical the school has become and Maka...well, she didn't seem to be doing very well.

Stein and Marie managed to come out of the incident without getting injured and were helping us to make plans to rescue Crona and stop those people who were trying to unlock the Yuki Onna's powers. There could be only one place where they would be. The old village in Japan where the Yuki Onna had once lived and died. 

However, things started taking a turn for the worse when it began snowing in Death City. It never snowed in Death City. I knew that it meant that the Yuki Onna's death was coming soon. It was as if she were sending me an invitation through the snow to set her free and wreak havoc on the world.

We gathered together in the Death Room. "Soul, Maka, Black Star, Tsubaki, Kid, Liz and Patty. You, Stein and Marie are going to go on the mission to save Crona," said Spirit. "Um...how about me?" I asked tentatively. "We can't take you with us, (y/n). It's too risky. They could catch you and use you to unlock the Yuki Onna's powers," said Kid. 

"But if I go, I could get a chance to seal away the Yuki Onna's powers permanently," I protested. "But isn't it what they want? For you to come after Crona so that they can kidnap you and use you to unlock the Yuki Onna's powers?" he said. "I know that. But there's something that I didn't mention earlier. If I don't come, they could just use Crona's black blood and combine it with the Yuki Onna's powers. This would only unlock her powers partially. But without the right body, she'll go completely out of control and possibly spread madness all over the world again," I said.

"I know it's probably not going to work. I know that there's a huge chance of me dying in the process but I have to try," I said.

"Okay! I guess it's settled then! (y/n) is coming with you!" exclaimed Death. "But chichiue!" protested Kid. "No buts, Kid. (y/n) is the only one who might be able to put an end to this," said Death.
