Reader's POV

"(y/n), is this it?" asked Soul. I nodded silently. We were standing around an old, rotting wooden well. "This is an entrance into the hideout. That is, unless they blocked it," I said. "(y/n), your blades!" exclaimed Marie-sensei. I looked down to see that my blades had withdrawn and were glowing brighter than I had ever seen them glow before. They were also slightly longer than before. As I stepped closer to the well, my blades began glowing brighter. I also felt a pull towards the opening. It wasn't a pleasant feeling. I felt as if whatever is down there was trying to draw something out of me. I shuddered. My hands shook at the thought of going back to the place I had been running from for years. The place where my family-

My thoughts were interrupted by a hand on my shoulder. "(y/n), are you okay?" asked Kid. I glanced around at all of my other friends who were smiling at me encouragingly. "Yeah, I'll be fine," I said. Stein, Marie, Black Star and Tsubaki were going to go first into the well. Then, it would be my turn to go down. Maka, Soul, Kid, Liz and Patty would go last. I stared down into the well. I knew that the Yuki Onna was waiting for me down there. I knew that what I had been running from is down there. But I also knew that now I have friends and teachers who are going to be with me this time. And I know that there's a friend who we have to rescue. I clench my fist. 

I'm ready.
