This was going to be a long week ahead. Rome and I are both busy with work, and we're barely going to see each other. Rome had a few away games while I was traveling with the Heat Dancers to make a couple of appearances. The closest I'll get to seeing him is through a television screen or video chat.
Currently, I was packing my bags before my flight tomorrow morning to New York. Crystal was here helping me as well.
"Why you packing so many uniforms?" Crystal asked as she plopped down on the couch.
"Because there's multiple appearances we have to do throughout the week. Basically one for every appearance we make." I told her while packing.
"How long you gonna be traveling?" Crystal asked me.
"I come back Friday night." I replied.
"Oooh the night before your birthday! What do you have planned?" She questioned.

"I plan on snuggling up in bed all day." I chuckled.
"What about Rome? Won't he be back by that time? He has to have something planned for you." Crystal stated.
"Rome plans on snuggling up in bed all day with me." I laughed as she glared at me.
"Oh my god... You two are so boring." Crystal groaned. "You have to do something! It's your birthday."
"I don't really feel like doing anything special or over the top this year though." I said as I finished packing.
"I don't care what you feel like doing!" Crystal exclaimed. "You're doing something for your birthday. No ifs, ands, or buts."
"But-" I started to say before she interrupted me.
"I said not buts. I'm gonna plan something. It doesn't even have to be over the top. We could go wine tasting or shopping or something." Crystal said excitedly.
"Crystal..." I sighed.
"Come on, at least think about it before immediately saying no." She told me.
