All About Her

The first day that we met,

I didn't know what to say.

So I looked away at a jet,

And you were on your way.

A friendly hello would have sufficed,

But I was very shy.

Once you get to know me,

Maybe you'll understand why.

I see you in the halls at school,

Once or twice a day.

Every time I see you though,

You're walking the opposite way.

I want to say hello,

Or at least shake your hand.

But every time I think of it,

An earthquake shakes my land.

And when I leave school,

To go home everyday,

I hope to see you walking,

Down my way.

When I get home,

All I can think about is you,

The way you smile, the way you laugh,

And your beauty too.

And when I go to bed at night,

When I start to dream.

I dream about you with your long hair,

Laying by a stream.

And when I wake up,

To start my next day,

All I can think about,

Is you walking down my way.
