The Bearer of Ribbon Red

I know that I just met you,

And I know your eyes aren't blue,

I knew that when I looked at you,

You were looking at me too.

You are funny, cute, and nice,

And you do not have to entice.

You and your beautiful brown eyes,

I could never tell you lies.

Every time I look into your eyes,

You make me happy and realize,

That you are the only one so far,

Who can release me from my ice bar.

I know that it is happening again,

Disappearing is that internal chain,

That one that was placed around my heart,

When at me that girl threw that dart.

She made me hurt and she made me cry,

Now all I do at night is lay and sigh,

Wondering when I'll get my ribbon back,

Because without it I do lack.

It was given to my heart when I was born,

And now that chain does make me mourn.

You are the Bearer of Ribbon Red,

Just like someone had once said.

You have come to return mine to me,

For that is what my heart can see.
