A Happy Ending Journey

You make me cry and you don't care why,

Soon I might want, to finally die.

It comes as such a surprise, to know you don't care,

Whether I am laughing, or running out of air.

You always put me down and doubt my very love,

While you compare yourself, to a lovely white dove.

I know it's not your fault and I wish to help you,

When I try and fail, I can't think of what to do.

The demon inside your heart, is making you very weak,

With signs of the damage done, appearing on your left cheek.

I try to comfort you in this time of need, but nothing seems to work,

I wish that I could get my hands on that demon and give him a jerk.

Your spirit is slowly fading, but I'll never give up,

Bringing to your dry lips, holy water in a glass cup.

Your cheek regains its colour and the demon begins to scream,

While the heavens open and towards us they begin to gleam.

The demon is forced to leave and your heart is purified,

With you awakening, realizing you almost died.

You notice that I'm holding you and that I've shed many tears,

You then place a kiss on my lips, releasing all of my fears.

My sunny smile rises for you, as I look into your eyes so green,

With our thoughts connecting, as we ask ourselves where have we been?

We soon begin to drift and fly away to our peaceful land,

Our warm hearts reuniting as one, while we soar hand in hand.
