Opening New Doors

When I first saw her, I fell completely in love,

She was much more beautiful than a dove.

I couldn't explain why, no matter how hard I tried.

All I knew was, without her I could've died.

I was wrong though and I'm still alive,

But when I saw her again, my heart took a dive.

I became choked up and couldn't breathe for a while,

Because my happiness had grown, when I saw her smile.

I know I probably sound stupid or even lame,

But no matter what happens, my feelings will be the same.

I want her to know how I truly feel,

But haven't been able to crack my seal.

She is a beautiful star and I am a mime,

But maybe we'll be together, if I give us time.

A relationship between us, might be delayed,

Or maybe it won't get a chance, to even be made.

I have to open up and ask her how she feels,

I just hope I can tell her, because my heart reseals.
