Silver Lining

I don't care, if I'm behind you all,

Walking, head up, I don't need to crawl.

I'm proud I've made it, this far in life,

Overcoming all, the fear and strife.

Holding on, to my celibate state,

And praying for, my visible fate.

Stubborn like a bull, strong I am not.

This silver lining, it's all I've got.

Now I wait for, that beautiful one,

To set foot on earth, under the sun.
