Hope For Grandma

I would cry forever and bleed right out.

I would wrench all my teeth and try to pout.

I could now do so much more,

Then I could ever before...

It seems that your now sad face,

Is becoming a blank space.

Your sleeping face sends shivers up my spine,

And I know that my dad's feels just as mine.

The pain and suffering you must go through,

Is felt in the family, not just you.

Your passing is inevitable, but yours will be worse,

With my mind starting to show me, that devilish hearse.

You have always meant so much,

Because of your big heart's touch.

The chance of your spirit leaving, seems so unfair,

Due to your aging body, unable to repair.

Keep your strength though, no matter what you do.

And never forget, how much we love you.
