Kiss My Heart Open

6 1 1

Strike once, even twice and my eyes will open wide.

Light my lips, with your smile, my heart will burn inside.

My eyes flicker as they adjust to seeing yours,

Waking me from a dream of fantasies and roars.

You bat your lashes and your eyes ripple,

Making my heartbeat pound, up to triple.

I hold you close as if you were really there,

Your body against mine, me smelling your hair.

We still haven't met, which makes me wonder a lot.

I tried to keep count, but it seems that I forgot.

One day our paths will cross I know, fate will see that through.

So until that day does come, I won't give up on you.
