Today was Mitsu's first birthday, and for the past year little Sakura has noticed some changes. Now this is normal when a new baby comes home, but this went a little too far. Sakura's parents sometimes forgot about her for days, even weeks! But they always remembered her, even if she couldn't tell.
The family decided to invite the whole Haruno family for Mitsu's birthday. Sakura's aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents were coming for the event. It was very chilly today, as it was late November. Snow had fallen yesterday.
Sakura was in her room awaiting her family to come over. She was so happy to see that her parents were happy, even if they forgot about her sometimes, but Sakura couldn't help but feel a little sad. They were moving in 1 month, since their house was too small for a family of 4. Sakura has just started school in September, and going to a new school so early was more nerve racking than the first day. At least she had some friends at Konoha Elementary.
"SAKURA, GRANDMA AND GRANDPA ARE HERE!" She heard her mother yell from downstairs. Smiling she ran down the stairs.

2 months later
The Harunos moved from the busy streets of Konoha to the quiet town of Oto.
Sakura only had 3 friends so far, but that was enough for her. Their names were Ami Watanabe, Mai Bryte, and Karin Izami (A/N: Ik she's a Uzumaki, but go along with it for the story.)
They were nice and always hung out with her, yet Sakura couldn't help but feel something off about them. Whatever it was, she brushed it off. They were her friends, friends have each others back, right?

7th Birthday
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAKURA!" her parents shouted at the table, where a gift bag and a strawberry cake sat on. Sakura smiled and ran to the table. She hugged her parents and gave them each a kiss on the cheek, thanking them. She kissed the top of Mitsu's head making the purple haired baby giggle happily.
Sakura opened her gift, inside was 2 new shirts, silver, dangling earrings and her favourite out of them all, a necklace with a cherry blossom charm, the colour of her hair. It had a small diamond in the middle that shined in the sun.
"Thank you so much mom, dad!" Sakura said, hugging them again.
"Anything for our little girl." Her dad said, hugging her back.

Later that day, Sakura was in the living room reading a book. It was about a girl who was a doctor and helped save the world with her 2 best friends. Ironically, the girl had pink hair like hers.
Suddenly she felt a tug on her pants. She looked down to see Mitsu, it seemed she wanted to play. Smiling Sakura knelt down On the carpet and took out 2 stuffed animals from her toy box next to the couch. She handed one to Mitsu, who almost immediately started chewing on it, Sakura sweat dropped at her.
"No no Mitsu, you hold it like this.." Sakura said, holding the doll towards Mitsu.
Mitsu stared at her, then continued to chew on the toy, Sakura sighed, she was about the try again when she heard her mother call her.
"Sakura can you help me fold these clothes please?" Her mother yelled from upstairs, Sakura sighed and got up.
Before she left she heard a small whimper, she turned around to see Mitsu looking at her with glassy eyes and a pout. Chuckling at her, Sakura knelt down and poked her sister's forehead, something she saw Itachi do to Sasuke plenty of times.
"Sorry Mitsu, maybe another time." Sakura said and headed upstairs.
