Pat!
Dink!
Tap tap!

I woke up and looked around my room.

Where is that sound coming from?

A rock hit my window and I flinched. I knew exactly who it was and put on a windbreaker, leggings and shoes. I stumbled through the darkness and used the moonlight to find my bookbags.
I found my two Jansport bags and opened my window. Steez smiled and waved and I opened my window.

"How am I supposed to get down?" I whisper shouted to him.

"Throw your bags down. I'll catch em."

I dropped my bags and he caught them.

"Aite now jump." He ordered.

My eyes widened. "No! The fuck is wrong with you?!"

"Just trust me ok? I got you."

I sighed, said a short prayer and jumped down into his arms.

"Easy right?" He kissed my cheek and put me down.

I rolled me eyes. He grabbed my bags and we ran up the street.

"You don't have your phone on you right?" He put my bags in the backseat and he got in the drivers seat and I was in the passenger seat.

"Nope." I said sleepily. He started the car and we left the neighborhood.

"Have you ever been to New York?" He asked

"Nope." I said again.

"Alright. There's some blankets in the backseat if you wanna go back to sleep." He pointed to the back.

"No thank you."

"We should be there by nine, ten, eleven o clock."

"Ok...this is your car?" I asked.

"Yeah. I rarely drive though."

"Then the fuck you doing? We could've flew." I argued.

"Stephanie calm down. I know what I'm doing. Please just be calm. We wont get anywhere if we argue and disagree with each other." He said. "If we work together we'll get there with no problem."

I sighed and mubled to myself. "What the hell am I doing..."

"Alright Steez. OK."

He smiled. "Thank you."

"As a matter of fact. I'm going to sleep." I yanked the covers from the back and threw them over me and fell asleep.

"Alright. Good night."

I woke up and I asked Steez where we're at.

"Maryland. We're almost in Delaware."

"Mkay."

"I'm about to stop at a gas station, you want anything?"

"Coffee and some cookies." I said.

He chuckled. "Ok, that's it?"

"Mhm."

"You still look tired." He said.

"A little bit. You're not tired?"

"Not really. I already took a nap before I came to get you so I'm fine. When we get home imma take a nap though, I know I'm going to be tired as fuck." He yawned.

"Home?"

"Yeah, Brooklyn. Unless you want to live somewhere else. Yonkers is pretty nice."

"Doesn't matter."
