While Steez was in the shower I went on the computer the hotel room came with. It was on a desk next to the tv. I typed in.

"Alexandria, Va. News."

A couple things about boring politics showed up and I kept scrolling down. I started getting frustrated about that being the only results until I found an article that read:

Two Alexandria teens gone missing. The two teens names are Jamal Steez Dewar and Stephanie Gold. They were both last seen September 15. Gold's family is devastated.

"I don't know why she would run. It's not like her at all." Her older brother said.

"All I can do is pray. I hope she's alright." Gold's dad said sadly.

We are not sure if Dewar and Gold ran off together but we are currently look for them throughout the east coast.

I stopped reading and turned the computer off. Thinking, I'm tired of it. I wish I could just turn my brain off but I can't. The shower cut off and I heard Steez call my name.

"Steffy you still in here?"

"Yeah! What's going on?"

"I've been calling your name for a minute. Can you pass me my towel please?"

I got up and jogged to the bathroom. "I got you." I gave him his towel and sat back down.

"What do you think about?" He asked randomly while coming out the bathroom with his towel wrapped around his waist.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, what's on your mind most of the time. What interests you? What do you like doing?"

"Singing, music. I love music. Art. It's kinda always been my thing."

"You can sing?!" He lit up.

"To me, I can. I've never had anyone listen to me sing. So it's based off of my judgement."

"Can you sing for me?"

I scratched my arm. "Hmmmm...I don't know, I'm not comfortable doing so."

"It's ok. I won't force you. I can rap for you though."

"Yeah?!" I asked.

"Word. I'll rap a song for you once I get my clothes on." He giggled.

He went to the bathroom to change, came back and sat next to me on the bed.

"What's the song name?" I asked.

"135. I wrote the song when I met you. The second time we met. It's like...when we started talking we clicked and it felt like we've known each other for years." He grabbed a journey from his bookbag and flipped to the page. He cleared his throat and started.

"It's like I can't think of the words, only a melody
Looping in my mind but my heart still skips a beat
I admire your style and your smile. A whole list of things
And I think that it's a shame, that I don't get to see you enough
And I been trying to make you mine for at least a few months
You steady running through my mind, so what's keeping you pumped
And as for them pumps, it's really bringing out the way that you strut
Like, who wouldn't want a girl with elegance, intelligence
And a cute way of presenting it?
I see where your potential is
And I know that even with or without me, you'll keep on ascending
Let me tune into your spiritual channel
My sleeping beauty all alone in her castle
You're golden, glowing through shadows
Cupid got his bow and his arrow when I throw in the towel

Relax yourself girl, please settle down
(I'm not saying you should let us in
I'm just saying let your guard down a little bit)

Still better my days, by drawing hearts around my Es's and J's
And thinking bout' you when I get on the stage
You're a lot more mature than the women your age
And I really don't expect it to change
So take this a token of my loyalty
It started with a blueprint, now I need a supporting beam
Way before the context, you saw a lot more in me
I can't define it metaphorically
You're like a diamond in the rough or the lighter to my dutch
That was blunt, but I can't lie you firing it up
And by myself it's hard for me to face it
All I need is patience to help keep this flame lit
And that look in your eyes is pretentious
It's no strings attached, so why less affection
And we both trying to find some reception
I got you unlocked, don't hide this connection."

He sang the hook and asked me what I though.

"That was beautiful."

He smiled and kissed me.
