Sometimes a chapter needs a sister chapter ;D

His sleepy deep voice echoed through my echoed and filled me with regret. It wasn't that his voice sounded bad, it actually sounded nice just tired. I didn't want to bother him, I really didn't but I had to talk to someone, someone to help me through this and he did give me his number to call him.

There's nothing wrong with using the resources you have, right?

"Oh hey Thorin, how are you?" I cringed at the shakiness of my hoarse voice. It was full of the tears that had not yet left my tear ducts.

"Flora, what's wrong?" He sounded more awake.

"Oh nothing, I'm just making sure that you're not sneaking out or anything." I knew he wasn't because he was asleep but I had to get my mind away from the thunder. Anything but the thunder.

" I know you really don't care about me sneaking out." Thorin didn't sound very convinced with his tone. He just had to notice the breaking of my voice and the way it trembled.

Why couldn't he be as stupid as he puts off?

"Yes, I do assh-" The house shook at the angry roar of the thunderous sky, cutting off my voice. A lump formed in my throat, making it hard to swallow as my eyelids scrunched up with tight pressure.

"You there?" He said against the thunder. "Flora?"

"...Yeah, I'm here." I whispered. "Sorry."

"Are you scared?"

"Mhm."

"I'm coming over."

"Wait, please don-" Bitch hung up on me.

My short breaths were becoming more frequent, only pushing short puffs out. At least they were something to focus on besides the thunder shaking my house and the thought of Thorin sneaking into my house once again. I knew he was somehow going to try and get my green tea again or use my bed as a giant band-aid.

Slowly, I sat up on the edge of my bed. The mattress bent to the back of my thighs that pushed against it. A sinking feeling was settling on the bottom of my stomach, the feeling of weakness. I was weak and scared because of a little thunder and now I was being a nuisance to someone new.

The whole "Flora is a horrible person" thought bubble was popped by the sound of my window slowly being pushed up from the finger thick crack that was left. It squeaked when flying up quickly and held onto by Thorin's life. The monkey-like man gracefully crawled through the window, stick each leg in first then his torso. His moves were quiet but the slamming of my window was not.

"Hey." My voice was becoming more hoarse by the second. "You didn't have to come over." I said, standing up. Even the darkness, it was easy to see his broad shoulders shrug in response my remark. Sighing, I motioned to turn on the lamp next to me just so I wouldn't have to see some tall coal colored figure standing right in front of me.
