"Glad you aren't letting Vision cook," You laughed as you walked into the kitchen to find Wanda working.

"Considering he doesn't actually eat," Wanda started, "It's not the best idea that he cooks."

"Yeah, as much as I love Vision, I trust your cooking more," You laughed and walked over to see what she was cooking.

"Tony decided he would bake the turkey; I'm working on the side dishes. A few normal things, and a few things I chose to make," Wanda smiled.

"Paprikash?" You raised your eyebrow.

Wanda laughed a bit, nodding after. "Yes, it was what Vision tried to make when I was stuck in the base, I'm going to show him how it is actually made."

"Well, I'm excited to try everything. Do you need any help?" You offered. Wanda didn't celebrate Thanksgiving in Sokovia, but she was more than excited to cook for a large meal the whole team could share. It would be a nice day and something to do, spend it as a family, to celebrate everything everyone has. She was very happy there was a reason everyone would be able to sit around the table and talk civilly.

Nodding, Wanda accepted your offer. She handed you a bowl and began to tell you what to do to make stuffing.

"Tony, take off your damn suit and sit down with the rest of us!" You shouted at Tony, who was hovering around the table, serving turkey.

"Yeah, we can just pass the food," Natasha said.

"But this is so much more fun!" Tony argued.

Steve glared at Tony when he flew past to cut off some turkey for him, "Calm down, old man," Tony said before Steve could lecture him.

You rolled your eyes at Tony as you told him what you wanted, and a conversation soon started. The food was being passed around, and everyone was getting ready. The only one who wasn't actually getting food was Vision, and it was pretty self-explanatory why not.

"Come, Stark, take a seat!" Thor yelled as he patted the seat next to him, "And someone give me the potatoes that were mashed!"

Clint insisted on saying a few words before anyone began to eat. If he couldn't spend this holiday with his real family, he was going to spend it with his Super-Family. He thanked everyone for the food, the friends he made, his family, and for doing something good and special with his life.

Everyone dug into the food (well, except Vision), and conversations became loud again. These conversations went from the most random things anyone could think of, to telling Tony that a toilet needs to be fixed, to talking about being thankful. Everyone had something to share on what they were thankful for, even besides the fact that they were a part of the Avengers and saving the world.

As usual, Bucky and Bruce didn't talk much. They were always the quieter ones of the bunch who usually commented from time to time, but even they looked like they were enjoying the day. You were seated in the middle of Wanda and Steve and caught a conversation with them, while you could hear Tony screaming about science to Rhodey and Bruce on the other side of the table. Natasha and Clint were stuck thinking back to when they first met, glad that they became friends. And glad that Clint didn't kill Natasha, or the other way around.

Sam and Bucky were quietly arguing about who needed to move their foot and who's could stay. "You guys are children, I swear," Steve sighed as he watched the pity fight.

"They are," Thor quickly agreed, taking a drink of the Asgardian liquor he brought.

"Swearing is bad!" Tony shouted, interrupting his own conversation. He will never let that go.

"Wanda, what's wrong?" Vision asked, snapping you back into reality. Vision asked that question much louder than intended, and it caught everyone's attention.

Wanda put her fork down, sighing a bit. "This is all so sweet, guys. I love doing this. But the only thing that would make it better would be if Pietro were here," She said quietly, "He would have loved this. The food, the concept of it all, it would be something new. And I just wish he could have experienced it."

"Awe, Wanda," You hugged her, "I'm sorry, but I bet he's watching over right now," You tried to comfort her.

"They're correct, your brother would have loved this, but he probably has his own pie and turkey, sitting right at the end of the table," Vision added, putting his hand on Wanda's shoulder.

"Tony, what are you doing?" Steve called down the table.

Tony grabbed a bottle of wine and started to mumble to himself. "Tony, would you like another glass? You know, I think I would love another glass."

"He's going insane," Rhodey sighed, putting his hands on his forehead and leaning forward.

"I will have another glass as well!" Thor smiled, pouring more for himself too.

"How do we deal with having these two around so much?" Bruce mumbled, taking another bite of his food.

"Bucky Barnes, we went over this; move your damn foot!" Sam yelled, pushing Bucky's arm.

"Leave me alone!" Bucky grumbled.

You looked around as chaos began to break out. "Nat, don't eat my food! There's more right- and you ate my food," Clint sighed, crossing his arms, "You are as bad as my children."

"Alright!" Steve shouted, catching everyone's attention, "Who wants to do the wishbone?"

Tony shot up out of his seat, immediately pointing at the Captain. "You and me, old man, let's fight!"

Disappointed, Steve nodded, grabbing the wishbone. Everyone gathered around Tony and Steve while they were making their wishes. You explained to Wanda and Vision that whoever got the bigger part of the wishbone meant that their wish came true, and that this would be hilarious with a drunk Tony going against Steve.

"Three, two, one," Rhodey counted down, "Go!"

The wishbone snapped, and when they looked at who had the bigger piece, it was Steve. "Hey!" He smiled, holding up his piece, "I won!"

Tony crossed his arms, "This is war, Cap."

"Not again," Bruce groaned, not sure what to think of the whole situation, "Will Thor and I at least be included this time?"

"Hey, wait," You stopped the group, "Where is Thor?"

Everyone turned around to look at the table, where Thor was still sitting. He was caught stuffing his face with anything he could get his hands on. Making a big smile, his cheeks puffing out, he managed to get a few words out, that ended up being very muffled. "Happeh Smanksgiving?"
