Bad Dreams

*in a dream*

Dan takes your hand. You both walk along the beach.
Dan runs in the water. "Come on! Is not that cold!" He yells.
"Im coming!" You take off your shoes and run in.
The water causes you both to bob up and down gently.
Putting his arms around your waist, Dan kisses you passionately.
You break your kiss to breath, then continue.
Suddenly, Dan screams. Confusion fills your head.
Before you can ask what's wrong, Dan gets sucked under the water.
"Dan!" You scream for help.
The water turns a deep burgundy.
"HELP ME!" Speeding towards shore.
A sharp pain shoots through your leg. Water surrounds your face. A fin flashes in front of your eyes.

"DAN!"
You bolt upright, shaking and sweating. Hair covers your eyes and is inside your mouth. You quickly retrieve it and pull it all into a messy ponytail. You take a deep breath and wipe your face.
A ping cause you to jump. Light fills the room. You check what it is.

Dan:I heard screaming. Are you ok?

The fear that had consumed you disappears. Dan is ok. He hasn't been eaten by a shark.

Y/N: It was me, but I'm fine now. Did I wake you?
Dan: no, I was still awake. Scrolling Tumblr. What happened?
Y/N: Bad dream
Dan: What was it about?

Even though he isn't here, you go red. What are you supposed to say? We were kissing then you got eaten by a shark? No way.

Y/N: I was with someone, but they go eaten by a shark
Dan: Who were you with?

'Crap!'

Y/N: I can't remember! I just remember blood, and screaming.

'Please buy it! I don't want to be awkward!'

Dan: Ok. You sure you're okay?
Y/N: Yeah I'm fine. Maybe see you tomorrow?
Dan: Yeah, see you tomorrow! Bye
Y/N: Bye xx

'Crap! Too forward! He's gonna think I'm creepy! I hate myself sometimes.'

You lie back down and close your eyes, praying that you won't have a dream like that one before.

•Dan's POV•

"DAN"
A scream drags my attention away from a gif of me eating a pizza. It sounds like someone screaming my name.
It was coming from Y/N's room.
I send her a text.

Dan:I heard screaming. Are you ok?
Within seconds, she replies,

Y/N: It was me, but I'm fine now. Did I wake you?
Dan: no, I was still awake. Scrolling Tumblr. What happened?
Y/N: Bad dream
Dan: What was it about?
Y/N: I was with someone, but they go eaten by a shark
Dan: Who were you with?

Y/N: I can't remember! I just remember blood, and screaming.

I'm not sure if she is telling the truth. She took a long time to reply. Plus, I could swear I heard her scream my name.

Dan: Ok. You sure you're okay?
Y/N: Yeah I'm fine. Maybe see you tomorrow?
Dan: Yeah, see you tomorrow! Bye
Y/N: Bye xx

I squeal. I really like her. I'm pretty sure she likes me back.

I pick up my laptop and go back to Tumblr.
