Truth in a Lie

•Chiara's POV•

"Byeeeee!" We all wave.

"So guys, but I need to go. I'm meeting PJ and Chris for coffee. Bye!" Phil kisses me and then walks away.

"So, do you want to watch Death Note" Dan asks.
"Yes please!"

We are both sitting next to each other on the sofa.

Dan is sitting so close to me, my heart begins to flutter.

Turns out, I like both Phil and Dan!

I don't know what to do. I love Phil. I don't want to hurt him, but I love Dan too. I don't know what to do.

"Hey, are you alright? You're very red."

"Yeah. I'm fine."

'Okay, im gonna do it!'

"Actually, Dan I need to tell you something...."
"What?"
"I like you"
"What?"
'Breath Chiara! Breath!'
"I like you. A lot"
"I'm sorry but-"

Then I did something I probably shouldn't have.

•Dans POV•

"You want to watch Death Note?" I point to the TV.
"Yeah!" Chiara sits on the sofa. I sit next to her.

We're half way through Death Note when I look over at Chiara. She is very red in the face and looks like she is confused.

"Are you ok? You're very red." I ask, concerned.

"I'm fine!"

I turn back to the TV.

"Actually, Dan I need to tell you something...."
"What?"
"I like you"

I'm shocked. That came out of nowhere.
"What?" I splutter.
"I like you. A lot."
"I'm sorry but-"

Chiara stops me from finishing my sentence.

•Y/N POV•

We're halfway down the road, when you remember I have forgotten something!

"STOP!! I FORGOT THE TICKETS!!" You scream.
"Good thing you remembered now!" Y/F/N turns the car around.
"Run and grab them. I'll leave the car on!" They yell as you run up to the door.

Quickly, you open it and grab the tickets. A conversation stops you from leaving.

"I like you!" It's Chiara.

You run in to see that Chiara and Dan are kissing.

You scream. Dan looks at you, a horrified look on his face. Chiara seems too happy to notice you.

"Y/N!!! It's not what it looks like I swear!" Dan yells.

You are heart broken. Dan grabs your arm.
"GET OFF OF ME" you scream, shaking him off of you. Tears blur your vision as you run out the house, tickets still in hand, and into Y/F/N's car.

"Okay! Let's go!!" Y/F/N says, before seeing your face.

"Oh my god Y/N! What's wrong?"

At that moment, Dan runs out the house.

"DRIVE!" You yell. Y/F/N sees that you don't want to talk to him, so they drive off.

"Okay, what the fu*k happened?" Y/F/N pulls over a couple roads away.

You tell them everything, tears still running down your face.

"THAT LITTLE BITCH!! IM GONNA FU*KING KILL HER!!" They scream at what you told them.

"No. Don't" you look at them.

"I can't believe Dan would do this to me!! He knows what happened with Finn! He knows how that nearly killed me!! He knew all this!! And then to go and do the same thing! WITH THE SAME FU*KING GIRL!! After all I've done for Chiara!"

You begin to hyperventilate. You're having a panic attack.

"Girl? Girl calm down!" They take your hands. "Wychwood is a week away from all this. You can calm down! And who knows, maybe even find someone new?" They calm you down then start to drive away.

"I don't think I can ever trust anyone with my heart again." You say, closing your eyes, tears still streaming out of them.
