I Got My Hair Dyed!

I AM SO SO SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! I went into the salon thinking I was getting a few simple aqua streaks in my brown hair. I got something even better and much more outstanding.
Instead of highlights, I got it almost completely dyed.
The girl who was gonna do my streaks ended up being triple booked, so I was placed with another girl, and she suggested I try a balayage ombré. You'll see what I mean when I show you. It's basically just having your hair lightened with bleach and then getting it colored/dyed from a certain point all the way down, in between your tresses of hair.

So now, more than half my hair is dyed teal and dark blue. Instead of streaks or highlights, I got half my head bleached blonde and dyed.
So the top of my hair is my natural color, brunette. Where you see the dye start and end, I'm permanently blonde underneath. I ditched the entire brown thing and went for bleached blonde topped with an unnatural color.

I look okay blonde, actually, but I will not be blonde. Basically, in 4 weeks, the dye will fade out and the blonde will show, and I'll have to go back and either touch it up or completely redo it with another color.
I'm so happy with it. It's truly beautiful. This masterpiece took 4 1/2 hours to complete, mostly because of the bleaching.
This is what my hair looks like blonde:

I fucking love it. The stylist was so sweet to me and was very careful. I love her, and I'll be going back once it fades out to get more.
If you want this type of hair done, take this into consideration:
• If your hair is dark, you will need to bleach it. If it's very long, cut it a bit before, because the process of bleaching takes forever. I was doing it for 2 hours, and I have medium-length hair.

• Normally, the bleach blonde is permanent. If you don't want that, either see if they have a semi-temporary or forgo the entire thing.

• It takes forever, especially if you have to bleach it first. Clear about 6 hours out of your schedule to get it done. Once the permanent bleach is done, that's all you'll have to do, so it won't be as long the next time.

Overall, I'm so happy with this. It's so beautiful and everyone is complimenting me on it. It was time for a change, and I'm so happy I made that change. I'm glad I dyed my hair. It looks different than the rest, and I do stand out. I love so much!
