I head back to the convoy while drying my tears on my cheeks.

Yes. It really hurts.

"Yes auntie. I will marry your daughter."

"Yes auntie. I will marry your daughter."

His words are like defective plates. It keeps on circling inside my head. I don't know how could I stop it. I don't know how can I erase him on my mind.

I opened the frontseat door. I was startled a bit because the kids are wide awake.

"Where have you been, ate?" Hazel asked innocently.

I smiled.

"I just killed those monsters."

"Then... why are you crying?" She pouted while slowly battering her eyelashes.

I wiped my eyes and cheeks.

"Because they hurt me. It's okay, honey. What matters is we're okay now. I mean, we'll be heading off to airport." I stated as I let myself in and sat on the frontseat.

"Yeeheeeyy! Jasper and I are so excited!" She stated while raising her hands in the air and wearing her precious smiles.

"Okay."

We're heading off to Calgary International Airport. From Alberta, it will take two to three hours before we reach the said airport.

For sure I will miss him. It's not easy to forget but, I'll try my best. Yes. I will try my best to forget everything about us. I will take it slowly. I won't rush things. But this I can promise to myself, I won't be hurt by anybody else... again. Not anymore. If he wants Ruby, then I'll set him free. I don't have to beg for his love. If he thinks I'm not worthy enough, be it.

"Flight..."

I'm walking with kids on my side to where the airplane is. I am holding their cute hands. Our maids took a handle with the kids. I heaved a sigh before stepping up.

This would be my last day in this country. I hope I can find my true love in Paris. Well, I'm looking forward for it.

Finally! After we arrived at Orly Airport, Orly, France, we immediately rode a vehicle.

"Yeheey! Finally! Can we go to Eiffel Tower, ate? Pleeeeease!" Hazel pouted. I just smiled at her.

We just arrived here in Paris.

Wow. So beautiful. The place is very relaxing for me. So solemn.

I took a glance from Jasper. He's carried by his nanny while sleeping.

"We will go there, honey. But not this time. We should rest first. Tomorrow morning, we will wake up early so we can prepare."

"Okay."

I rent a condo unit here in Paris. I still don't know how long we will be here. I really really hope we can have our new life beginning here in France.
