Later at home.

"Hey Elena, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?" she said

"Klaus says hi."

"I'm sorry, but did you just say Klaus." she said

"Yeah."

"Don't let him in." she said

"Too late. He was here yesterday."

"Ok. You haven't heard the history of Klaus and I. He tried to kill me so he can be a hybrid and make more hybrids out of werewolves and he is bad the only one you can trust is Elijah." she explained

"Let me see." I said as I looked in her eyes and saw everything.

"Wow. I feel sheep-ish. Ok I know now he is b-ah-ah-ahd news." I said as we chuckled.

"I have something to tell you, all of you." our dad said in a sad kind of tone.

"What is it?" said Skylar

"Your Grandfather on your mother's side died today." dad said

"How do you know?" I said as a tear escaped my right eye

"I know because your mother was talking to him and he was making her laugh which made him laugh and he didn't take his medicine and he had a stroke and died." dad said

"Wait, was this Grandpa Jospeh?" I said as more tears escaped my eyes

"Yeah. I feel bad because Emma you only saw him once and the rest of you never saw him." dad said

"What was he like?" asked Skylar as she cried too.

"your guys would have loved him. He lives on Mickey Drive not too far from here. He loves making people laugh, making up silly stories and adventurous bedtime stories and if we were still 6 years old he would make the stories come to live. As if it really happened." I said as I smilied though the pain that my heart felt knowing that he died.

"Wow he sounds so much fun." they said. I went upstairs and looked at my phone Troy was calling me.

"Hello." I said in a sad tone

"I was thinking about you. Are you ok?" he said

"I need you to come over."

"Ok I am on my way." he said

The doorbell rang and it was Stefan,Noah,Alexis,Dove,Stephanie,and Troy.

Troy came up to my room. I was looking out the window.

"Emma?" he said as he came over to give me a hug.

"Your dad told me what happened." he said

"My Grandfather was an extrodinary man. He would love anyone or anything. If you had a bad day he would tell you a joke to make you smile or tell you he would sing a silly song. I feel like I could talk to him for hours and hours on the the phone. I taught him how to video call me on the computer and we would talk and joke around. He used to call me his little miss sunshine." I said as Troy just hugged me tighter."I will miss him so much. No one can replace him."

"Hey listen, no one can replace him. Ok? I need you to be strong for me." he said

"Ok." I stared into his eyes and then we kiss. I smiled and he wiped my tear away with his thumb. He made me happy and every one stayed over. So my mom stopped crying and came downstairs and she never saw me so happy. We talked about the good memories of my Grandfather. I never knew that talking about him would make me smile and laugh.
