As I crawled through the tight, sweaty air vent of the humongous building, I couldn't help but wonder what the boys were up to. Were they watching TV? Panicking and running around like headless chickens? Or were they actually on their way, like what had Zayn said? Nah, he was bluffing, he didn't know where this place was. When the boys were kidnapped, they were blind folded.

I shook away my thoughts as the vent came to an end, leaving me confused. Vents didn't usually 'come to an end', they kept going until they reached the end of the building.

I frowned with curiousity and began to back up, as there wasn't enough room to turn around completely, when I heared a small 'click'. I froze and lay down on my back so I could look around the dark vent, but I saw nothing out of the ordinary. I pulled out my camera and took a picture of the metal above me.

I waited for the picture to show through and I saw an under view of a classroom, where pupils were being taught by Mrs Applebomb. I took a picture to my left with the result of seeing a staff room. I looked closely at all the people inside and noticed that Beckitt wasn't there, unsuprisingly. I took a picture to my right, which just showed a closet space filled with.... Ew! Two people making out!

I resisted the urge to yell "GET A PROPER ROOM" and took a picture below me, revealing another classroom filled with students. I huffed in annoyance and move backwards again, but stopped when I heard the same "click" noise.

What on Earth was that?

Slowly, I moved my leg back until I heared the "click". I moved back again, quicker, and this time, I heard a lot of continuous clicks, which couldn't be good.

In a split second, I dropped down onto my stomach and a massive flame of fire was shot over my freaking head.

That was why it was so bloody hot!

I gasped loudly and crawled backwards to get as far away from the base of the flame thrower as possible, without burning my clothes or hair. As the smoke filled the vents, I looked around for a door to go through, as if I stayed there, I'd either a) die from the heat, b) die from the smoke, or c) be caught because it was obvious that somebody set this up just in case an intruder tried to get in.

I looked round and saw a vent door by my feet, and without checking to see whether anybody was in the room or not, I kicked as hard as I could at the flap and jumped through the hole.

I felt the impact of the hard ground on my feet and I looked up to notice that I was in a dark room, when I heard my phone buzzing in my pocket. Eleanor. I ignorde all the messages and voice mails from the boys and Paul, and answered the phone.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked as I observed the dark room, where the only light sourse was from the shut blinds on the window.

"I'm just warning you that it's 10:28, the camera man should be checking the cameras in two minutes, so if I were you, I'd hide. I see that you're in Mrs Crab's history class, yeah?"

"Well, I can't see properly so I'm trusting you on this. How can you see me? It's pitch black!"

"The cameras have night vision. Anyway, the closest blind spot to you is in the closet hidden behind the black board. There should be a key somewhere in the room, probably under the floor board by the front left leg of the desk. I've seen her crouching over it."

"Oh, I don't need the key, I've got one myself," I said as I felt the wall for a light switch.

"Don't turn on the light!" Eleanor quickly squealed, stopping me in my tracks. "The alarm goes off if somebody gets inside the room without unlocking the classroom door from the outside, if you turn on the light, they'll know you're in there."

I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you (One Direction)Where stories live. Discover now
