You sat on the sofa in your hotel room and held your phone up to your ear as you chatted with an old friend.

"Yeah so I'm in Japan for this case"

"BRO! That's so cool, I've always wanted to go there"

"I'll get you something don't worry"

You noticed L come on and sit down next to you, crawling over to you and resting his head against your shoulder, making you smile.

"So what anime do you want me to get you?" You said through the phone.

"Anything, surprise me" nanami replied.

Suddenly you felt something against your cheek. Knowing it was just L kissing you, you smiled and continued to talk.

"So-"

He kissed you again, making you hold in a giggle.

"You ok?" Nanami said.

"Yeah, I just got interrupted for a sec-"

You felt L kiss you again and wrap his arms around you. You giggled a little and tried to go back to talking but L kept on kissing your cheek. He was like a toddler, wanting attention at the worst times.

"I can get you some mang- L stop!"

You broke into giggles and finally acknowledged L's existence, making him smile.

"OMG! Did you say L?"

"Yeah, I'm working in the case with him- L stop!"

"Is he cute? What's he like?"

"Very cute and sweet but a pain in the butt sometimes" you said.

"Hey!" L jumped in.

"L I swear to god stop!" You giggled.

"But I want attention..." he pouted.

"I'll give you attention when I'm off the phone stupid!"

You wrapped an arm around L and pulled him closer to you so he'd stop complaining.

You could hear Nanami laughing from the other end.

"Shut up you! He's great but a pain in the butt" you said.

"Can I talk to him? Please?"

You turned to L.

"Nanami wants to talk to you" you said.

"Ok, put speaker on" L replied.

You turned on speaker phone and held you phone in between the two of you.

"Ok you're on speaker phone" you said to nanami.

"Omg! Umm hi!" Nanami said awkwardly.

"Hello" L replied.

"Ohmygod I hope this doesn't sound weird but your voice is really nice"

"THATS EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!" You jumped in.

"Thanks?" L said.

"So kira he's a maniac..."

TIME SKIPPY

"Ok, bye nanami!"

"Wait! One thing real quick, what where you two up to earlier?"

"I saw trying to get her attention" L said.

"Omg you two sound so good for each other!"

You and L exchanged glances and smirked. If only she knew.

"Ok well, I gotta go bye!"

"Bye!"

You hung up and put your phone down. You turned to L and smiled.

"You have my attention, happy now?" You laughed.

"Yes"

He leaned up and gave you a peck on the lips.

"Now what do you want?" You giggled.

"I want to cuddle with you duh" he replied.

"You're such a dummy, you could have just come up and hugged me you don't have to ask"

"I know, but I want to make sure you're ok with everything we do"

"Well cuddles are fine at anytime, if I'm on the phone just come up and hug me unless it's an emergency"

"But it was an emergency! I wanted to be with you before I died because of lack of attention!" He said dramatically.

You giggled and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
