You had ignored the symptoms for ages, the heart rest picking up, the blush on your face, the cravings for his hugs. But today you finally realised, you were in love. You were in love with L, the worlds greatest detective. You loved him with all your heart and just had to have him as yours. You HAD TO. You had tried to give off hints all day, but since you weren't a case, L didn't seem to pick them up... or did he?

It was silent for a while as everyone worked until it was broken by a familiar voice.

"(Y/n) are you in love with me?"

Everyone turned to L.

"Wha- I- Um"

"You've been awful affectionate and you've been blushing and stammering a bit too, it seems logical"

"Well... I mean... y-yeah... please don't kill me"

You waited for something else to be said, but you just turned to your work when no one said anything.
