Camila: Hey babe, I'm gonna be a little late tonight.. Stuck at in the Newspaper office trying to finish my article

Lauren: Okay! Thanks for letting me know.. I'm gonna take Fish for a walk when I get home and then start working on some pieces for my gallery

Lauren: MY GALLERY

Lauren: MY GALLERY, CAMZ! I HAVE MY OWN GALLERY

Camila: Hahaha, yeah you do!

Camila: How do you feel about that?

Lauren: Nervous, excited, it's totally surreal! I can't believe this is happening. I've wanted this since the first time I picked up a paintbrush when I was 6

Lauren: It's crazy! People strive to get their art recognized and honestly, Camz.. When I walked into the meeting with the board, I thought for sure it wasn't going to happen. Some of the people, most of the people who interviewed for the Gallery spots have been trying to get noticed for years and here I am, a first timer, completely new to the process and I got one of the spots. It's surreal, Camz!

Camila: You think you'll be prepared in time for January?

Lauren: Um, I sure hope so.. It's nerve-wracking, the idea of having to prepare an entire show

Camila: Why are you nervous?

Lauren: Because my art is my whole being, Camz! It's my thoughts and feelings, it's my heart and my mind on a canvas and I'm about to put it all out there for people to see and to interpret in their own way, it's scary

Camila: You're gonna be amazing, baby! I'm so excited to see what you come up with.. What do you want most from the Gallery? Like what are you hoping for?

Lauren: I don't know? I guess I just want people to walk away having felt something..

Lauren: You're full of questions today, huh? You've been full of questions the last couple days

Camila: Just interested, wanna know where your head is at so I can help you in my own way..

Lauren: I love you

Lauren: I just want to put my best work out there you know? This is my first gallery, this is what people are going to remember about me

Camila: What style are you going to use?

Lauren: That's the thing, Camz.. I don't actually know.. Maybe a variety of styles? My portfolio wasn't exactly one collective set of pieces, it was all over the map.. I never stick to one style
