Chapter 41

(A hour after they arrived home)

Ryder and i havent said a word to eachother i was currently in our room changing into Pjs. I slide the dress of and put on a pair of black sweatpants. I was about to put on my shirt but the door opened and Ryder walked in. His eyes turned a little darker but i could tell he was fighting his wolf, so i continued to put on my shirt but i moved my shoulder and i winced in pain. The next thing i knew i was up against the wall and my shirt was on the floor. 

"Why did you wince?"

"No reason"

"Phoenix"

"I was training with my dads pack and they are hard core. If you dont do it correctly they hit you with a metal rod and i was hit in the shoulder multiple times"

He growled and inspected me over and everywhere he touched i winced. 

"You need a massage"

"Im good i can just sleep it off"

"Nice try Thompson come on"

He led me to the bed and made me sit in between his legs. He started to massage the worse parts and i droned out after a while. I broke out of my trance when Ryder shook me a little

"Oh thanks Ryder"

I got up and grabbed my shirt. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and put my hair in a ponytail. I walked out and Ryder was in bed already. I walked over slowly and got in bed as far away from Ryder as i could get. I heard him do a low growl and he turned me over so i could face him. 

"Phoenix why have you been ignoring me and you wont even look at me"

"I have been looking at you"

"Your doing it right now why wont you look me in the eyes"

"Scared i guess"

I said it barely above a whisper.

"What are you scared of?"

"That you hate my guts as much as i hate myself right now"

"Why would you think that?"

"I left without telling you and i was going to be bonded to someone else"

He was quiet so i went to turn around but he pulled me back. He crashed his lips onto mine and i kissed back. It started out slow but then it got heated. He licked my bottom lip and i granted it. We broke apart to someone knocking on the door Ryder grumbled and went to answer it. I got out of bed and stood by the bed. Lance came in and looked at me 

"The doctor said she should be fine and will be awake by tomorrow"

"Okay will she be ok?"

"I dont know you can see her tomorrow"

With that he walked out probably going back to Torey, i sat on the bed and stared at my hands

"He hates me now"

"Hey he doesnt hate you its his wolf not having Torey is killing him"

"Sure that makes since"

I get back in bed lay down and stare at the wall. I felt the bed move and i was pulled into Ryders chest. I layed my head on his chest and he started fiddling with my hair and i fell asleep.

(The Next Day)

I was sitting in the kitchen in a sweatshirt and jeans. Ryder had alpha duties and Lance was with Torey. Colt and Haley came in and Colt looked shocked to see me

"Your home?"

"Yeah they kidnapped me back"

"Cool i missed you Pixie"

"I missed you to Colt"

I hug him and right when we brake apart Lance comes in.

"Torey wants to see you i have to go help Ryder with something"

"Ok"

I walked to the infirmary and knocked on her door. When i heard the muffled come in i opned the door and saw Torey laying on her bed with her shoulder wrapped up.

"Hey Phoe i didnt think you would come and see me when i was i here"

"Well Lance hasnt left your side and i am not on his good side right now since its my fault your in here"

"Its ok i get to lay around all day so its not that bad"

The door opened and the pack doctor walked in

"Hello luna i just came to tell Torey that she can leave"

"Sweet lets go watch a movie"

She gets out of bed and grabs my hand. 

(A little later)

We were in the middle of watching The Host when Ryder and Lance came in looking worried.

"Whats wrong with you two?"

"Torey why are you out of the infirmary?"

"You answer my question first Lance then i will answer yours"

"Ryders parents and mine found out we found our mates and they want to meet you"

Hey guys i did it two updates in a day the next one should be tomorrow or Sunday hopefully. This story may go on for a little longer if i want to do the idea i have in my head for the second book. I will post a sneak peak of the first chapter probably in one of the last updates but i will try to update tomorrow vote and comment Bye
