Chapter 7: Recap part 1

[Just a recap of the chapter 4 when Namjoon said they were going hunting]

Namjoon Pov

"We're getting a free meal"-I said as I still had Jins hand and started running.

We ran for at least two miles until we got to the wood's me and jin took a quick water break while also catching our breaths

"What now? Wont there be packs here"jin asked clearly worried

"The only pack here would be mine we control the whole wooden area over here but never come here alone they won't recognize your scent since your not from here"I said as we put our bags in some bushes and went deeper into the forest

"So that means you can see your parents whenever you want? "-Jin asked me I tenced up at the question a little

"Well..ya kinda only my father though my mother was killed when we decided to live in the human world but once she died we went back to the forest"-I said looking down beganing to get lost in my own thoughts.

*Flashback*

Namjoon walked with his mother from the store heading back to the house going their regular way down a wide alley where cats would sit sometimes.  Namjoon was only 6 years old at the time, holding his mothers hand eating vinalla ice cream since they couldn't have chocolate.

"Mama? Do you think yoongi hyung may be around here with all the other cats"-Namjoon asked as his mother laughed

"Of course not these are just the occasional street cats you'll be able to tell the difference once your older joonie"-His mother said still laughing a little until two guys walked up to them

Namjoon was slightly pushed behind his mother a little as they tried to walk past them but we're stopped when one of them pulled out a small dagger. Namjoon was confused on why his mother hadn't turned into a wolf but kept quiet from fear his father always said to not touch the knifes when they we're in the kitchen.

"M-mama who are these people?"-Namjoon said clearly shaken up.

"W-we don't  want any trouble just let us through!"-His mother said pushing him more behind her. They weren't use to the human customs yet so that's all she could get out of her mouth

"Get the women, I'll take care of the kid"-The older of the two said as they began walking towards them

Once those words came out if his mouth namjoons mother quickly dropped her groceries and picked up namjoon running quickly, her being a wolf had an advantage so they most likely wouldn't catch up to them yet, but who would have thought that one of them would have a gun. 'BOOM' the sound echoed. namjoons mother fell to the ground he dropped out of her hands in the process.

"Idiot! I told you not to bring the gun"-The older said as they both quickly ran away jumping into a white van then quickly driving off.

"M-mama hey w-wake up we h-have to get home to Papa!"-Namjoon said while nudging her to move. Tears rolled down his face his knee's and arms we're scraped but he didn't care

Someone with a kid by them walking by noticed them even though it was slightly dark and quickly ran across the street it was yoongi and his father they had been good friends with Namjoon's family since they we're both animals Namjoon and Yoongi would always play with each other while there parents talked

"Namjoon! What happened?!"-Yoongi said quickly running over faster then his father then noticing the gun shot

"Y-Yoongi hyung?"-Was all namjoon could get out he was hit with reality of what happened and was to shocked to say anything else.

Yoongi's father picked up Namjoon's mother heading towards their house he had been there multiply times so the way there was burned in his mind. Taking her to the hospital was way to risky and it was already to late anyway. When they made it to Namjoons house, his father immediately ran out it had been a while he had grown worried.

"I'm sorry, by the time we got there it was already to late"-Yoongi's father said sadly as he placed the body down in the grass gently, the families had been really good friends with each other so it was shock to him

Namjoons father was silent he was to shocked, until he looked down at his son he being comforted by yoongi, still crying a little with the occasional whimper.

"They we're gonna try and take Mama with them, but she ran and one of them took out something and hit her"-Namjoon mumbled looking at his father with tears still running down his face

A couple of hours had passed by yoongi's father had apologized again and left heading back home with yoongi. Namjoon had fallen asleep from crying so much in his father arms. It was decided that his father was gonna head back to the pack taking his wife's body with him. He gently woke namjoon up although it was already late but they. Couldn't live there anymore.

They returned to the pack a sleepy namjoon was taken by the packs women that looked over the younger kids, while his father being leader of the pack talked to the rest of the others.

"End of Flashback*

"Joon? Are you alright? I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked"-Jin said holding Namjoons hand unconsciously

"Hm oh n-no it's fine it's fine let's just hurry before it gets even more late still have school after all"-Namjoon said letting go of jins hand and getting down on all fours which was embarrassing for him.

Jin laughed a little. "What are you doing silly?"-jin said sitting against a tree watching him in amusement.

"W-what you don't transform like this?"-Namjoon said standing then dusting his hands off walking over to jin

"Nope I simply just sit and do it"-jin said sitting down motioning Namjoon to sit in front of him

A few minutes passed of them just staring at each other awkquardly until jin decided to turn into his wolf first. Namjoon soon following, after looking at Jin whose wolf side was the perfect dusty brown. Namjoon turned into his wolf which was a dark grey wolf. They both stood up Namjoon being a little more taller then jin by a few inches. Namjoon grinned still having the same facial expressions but only being to talk to each other by barking. Ran off quickly jin following behind him confused as they continued running until namjoon slowed down bending down a bit , jin quickly slowed down to see what namjoon was doing then noticed a small group of deer grazing which was surprising since most deer would be to cautious of the other wolves.

Ending the first part here Im sad after writing namjoons past but no more sadness.......... Probably
