I groaned letting out heavy huffs getting tangled in my polka dotted bedsheet. My hair formed a blanket around my face blocking out the sunlight peaking through my curtains. A sharp pain formed in the bottom of my stomach causing me to screech. I bit my tongue trying to focus on a different form of pain.
My room door creaked open, but I was in too much pain to look. Their feet tip toed across the room before two strong arms wrapped around my waist. It was my boyfriend Minhyun.
"Time of the month huh" he spoke already knowing. I mean we have been dating for two years.
"I hate being a girl. Why can't boys get their period?" I mumbled curling into Minhyun wishing my stomach felt better. He chuckled pecking the top of my forehead.
"You have to admit. It would be weird for men to be walking around with a big stomach when they are pregnant" he stuck out his tongue in disgust.
I raised an eyebrow thinking of the situation too, before gagging jokingly.
"Yeah especially you" I laughed grabbing my side.
"Ha ha very funny (y/n)" he shook his head snickering.
I laughed again as the sharp pain returned. I growled grabbing the sheets fistfuls at a time. Minhyun worriedly looked at me trying to make me laugh. Which wasn't helping at all. I felt like complete utter nonsense. And even him cracking jokes wouldn't help at this point.
"It hurts" I groaned through gritted teeth.
Minhyun's soft lips kissed my forehead causing my skin to prickle. I grabbed my stomach shutting my eyes tightly. Feeling the bed shift its weight, I opened my eyes to see Minhyun left. What the hell?
I rolled my eyes closing them again so no tears would shed. Although it was too late. The pain was throbbing throughout my body. In time Minhyun returned with chocolate and medicine.
"Jagi take this" he urged me with the pills in his hand. Admiringly looking at Minhyun I thanked him for being so sweet. I swallowed the pill in one big gulp with the water he handed me."Thank you" I weakly smiled.
"Now eat this! And we will watch some dramas!" he kissed my nose, then my cheeks, and finally my lips.
I giggled taking a piece of chocolate as Minhyun started my favorite drama. I at least watch this drama twice. Minhyun knew I loved the thrill of the show. He liked it a lot too. Which was good considering ever other show he hated.
"NOOO DON'T DO IT!" Minhyun screamed at the screen earning a laugh from me.
"You are so weird!" I snuggled closer to him.
"So you move closer to me!" he laughs looking down at me
"You might be weird, but I love you to death... Literally"
"I love you too jagi. I hope you're feeling better" he cooed.
"I'm feeling much better since you're here" I mentally groaned at my cheesiness.
For the rest of the day we watched the whole drama which was mine and Minhyun's favorite. With the help of the medicine, chocolate, and Minhyun's belly rubs and kisses. I was feeling much better.
He really was the sweetest boyfriend on the planet. I know that might sound cheesy or cliché, but it was nothing but the truth. Minhyun genuinely cared if I was happy or sad. So he most of his time making me laugh. Which I could never thank him enough for being a better boyfriend. And even though periods suck I came to the realization their not a bad thing when you have a boyfriend like Minhyun.
