Hey!

Sorry for the delay /.\

I had this whole 'trying english translation' note up here but by the time I finished the chapter, I remembered why most of the dialogues in my books aren't in english. Feel hi nahi aati *sigh*

So I while editing, I removed all the translations. But in case you see one, this is why.

PAKEEZAH'S POV

I stared at the papers in my hands. They had fallen out of Hussain's bag while I was putting his things away. They were four A4 sheets, stapled together and I could sort of tell that they had Hussain's name written on them. There was an aeroplane's photo on the top left corner along with a lot of words that I couldn't understand.

I frowned at them out of frustration; I wish I could read this.

I could ask aunty to tell me what was written on these but I was scared that Hussain might not like it. He gave me clear instructions to stay away from his things but I still unpacked his bag.

"Bhabhi!" Maha burst through the door, banging it right against the wall, "main aur bhai movie dekhne wale hein. Aap bhi aa jao?"

"Hussain aa gaye kya?" I frowned at her but she shook her head.

"Main aur Shehry bhai," she corrected, "pata nahi mama kaise maan gayeen?"

"Acha tum chalo, main aa raheen hoon," I told her I'll be joining her, smiling half-heartedly. Once she left the room, I glanced at the clock. Hussain left in the morning and it was already seven pm. It's been days and I still haven't had a chance to talk to him properly.

I just hope he is not upset with everything that happened. I sighed and kept his papers on the bed before heading outside.

Maha had already put on some Shah Rukh Khan movie. She was his huge fan; in the past few days, she made me watch at least one movie every day and they all had him in them. I wanted to watch some of Hussain's work but I never mentioned it to her. I didn't know if I could see him with any other girl, even if it was for a movie.

I had seen some of his magazine poses (not as revealing as the first one I saw) but I hated the ones where he was standing next to those shameless girls. Aunty had laughed, probably upon noticing my expressions, and told me it was his profession but seriously? Itna paas khare hone ki kya zaroorat hai?

"Bhabhi!" Maha snapped her fingers in front of my eyes, "kya soch rahe ho? Sit!"

She patted the seat next to her and I smiled at her.

"Shehryaar kahan hein?" I asked her once I sat down.

"Apne kamre mein, aur kahan? Unhein nahi dekhni movie," She rolled her eyes.

"Main le kar aati hoon," I told her and She shrugged her shoulder as I got up to leave.

Shehryaar's room was dark; There were no lights on but I could still see his shadow near the window, as still as the leaves outside. I turned on the lights, making him jump out of his thoughts. He glanced at me with knitted eyebrows, almost accusingly, and I quickly flicked one of the buttons, turning off the main lights. Only leaving the bedside lamp turned on, I looked at Shehryaar again. He looked so tired and drained.
