"You ready?" My roommate asked my boyfriend and I.
"Yeah, Gee?" I turned to him, asking if he was also prepared to go out tonight.

We kinda haven't been out of the house in a week. Okay, so Gerard and I like hung out in the backyard and opened windows, but we had never actually gone into the outside world of social interaction and rude people.

"Yeah." He replied, grabbing his jacket off the door handle. I watched him throw it over his shoulder before he pulled me up against his side as we walked out of the house.
"Oh? Protective tonight, are we?" I looked up at him and wrapped my arms around his torso.
"Just a little." He winked, sending shivers down my spine.

Gerard did it all the time, he lived to see me getting all flustered and blushy in front of my friends.

I lightly hit his arm.
"stop that, your gonna end up fucking me in the bathroom if that's how the night is starting" I whispered.
"I dunno, that sounds kinda nice. I don't see how you think fucking in the bathroom is a bad thing." He whispered back, kissing my cheek.
"You're horrible." I slammed my car door shut in the cab and eyed him through the window.

"What the hell is up with you guys?" My friend, who Gerard and I were going with, asked.
"Oh nothing. I'll explain later." I smiled she rolled her eyes.
"You guys and your innuendoes." She rolled her eyes.
"Oh shut up." I took a sip from her water bottle.

We got to the bar and in the first 6 seconds, my friend was dragged away into a crowd of dancing people. Gerard and I roughed or way through the sea of people to an isolated seat in the back.
"Do you want me to get drinks?" Gerard asked.
"No, I'll go. You stand the Fort." I got up, lightly brushing my hand up his arm.

The moment I walked up to the bar, I instantly regretted it. There were big burly men obviously already shitfaced, trying to talk up any person with a vagina in the area.

"Hey beautiful, fancy a drink?" A man spun me around to face him.
"Uhh, I-" I was cut off by his friend.
"Of course she wants a drink! Come sit with us, maybe we can persuade you to hang out with us later?" He asked as if I were to tell him straight up that I would want to fuck them both in the back of somebody's truck, which I most defiantly don't.
"Uh, no, I just came for-" I was cut off again by the bartender.
"Miss, are you going to Order something or not?" He seemed to be growing impatient.
"Yeah! I uh, 2 beers on tap?" I asked him. The bartender nodded and walked to fulfill my order.
"Buying for us? What a sweet lady! What's your name sugar?" I cringed at the man's use of Gerard's nickname for me.
"No! I have my-" I was cut off once again by a hand wrapped firmly around my stomach. I was pulled into the body of my boyfriend, who had come to show the men up.
"She has a boyfriend." Gerard growled firmly. I swirled around in Gerard's grasp and settled with my hands on his chest.
"Oh! So sorry! You to look like such a happy couple." One of the men said sarcastically.
"Yes. Yes we are very happy. We've been together for about 5 years now and are madly in love. So excuse us, we're going to go make out in the corner with our drinks where there is nobody to harass my beautiful girlfriend." Gerard grabbed our beers off the counter and stormed off.
"You can't actually be happy with that scrawny piece of shit." The other man claimed.
"Actually, yes I am. Maybe if you hadn't cut me off, you would have saved yourselves quite an embarrassing situation. night, boys." I walked away, just as angry as Gerard.

"Fuck that. That bullshit is why I hate to go out." Gerard pulled me into his lap.
"I'm not even pretty. Why do they have to hit on me?" I groaned, sipping my beer.
"Sugar, you are the most fucking beautiful person I've ever seen. Anybody who wouldn't hit on you is insane." He rubbed my thigh.
"Gee, you know you only have to say that because we're together." I leaned into his chest.
"Babe," Gerard grabbed my chin lightly and tilted my head to face his."You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met, so shut up." He smiled. I smiled back, biting my lip lightly.

Our lips connected briefly before my friend walked over to us.

"I Might be leaving with this guy, so you guys can go if you want. If anything, I'll get a cab." She told me, already tipsy and tripping over her feet.
"As long as he doesn't murder you, it's alright by me." I told her, still tightly clasping Gerard's hand. She nodded and stumbled back onto the dance floor, running into a short man with dark hair, assumably the man that should be taking her home.

"I worry for her." I shook my head.
"Me too love. Let's get a cab, okay?" He asked, leading me out the door. I nodded and Gerard hailed a taxi. We stepped in, telling the driver our address.

Soon, were home, sitting on our couch, wrapped together in a blanket.
"I hate leaving the house." I mumbled against Gerard's shoulder.
"Ugh, me too." He agreed, kissing my forehead softly.
"Let's not leave the house again until we're out of food." I said, curling up closer to Gee.
"Agreed. Now, watch the movie love. Won't be long until Jamia's back."
