The next thing I know, a bunch of hybrids came out of nowhere and pounce on all the hunters. 12 screams in surprise and attempts to grab anything to use it as a weapon against these creatures.
Nate and I use our fists to punch at every hybrids that comes to our way.
“Melanie!” Nate screams.
I turn around just to see a hybrid biting his neck as he looks at me in pain.
“No!” I yell, grabbing a chair and whack it at the hybrid’s head. The hybrid turns to me instead and lets go of Nate.
I look around to search for any silver. I see 12 laying on the floor dead. Director and Red are also dead. Everyone around Nate and I are dead. Including the HQ agents.
The hybrid uses my distraction to sink it’s teeth into my flesh. I let out a scream of pain.
Exhaustion fills in me as I fall next to Nate.
“Nate,” I whisper, staring into his now dead eyes.
I can’t live without him. He’s my other-half. He’s my twin.
I can feel my heart stops beating.
Goodbye.
