Thought I wasn't enough and I wasn't so tough laying on the bathroom floor

I was frozen in fear, Michael was free. Where is he? Is he going to come after me?

"Don't you worry babe, I'm going to stay with you tonight and we're going to pack your things. Tomorrow we will get you out of there ok?" Liam assures me. "We won't let anything happen to you, I promised not only Emily but Harry as well. He told me to keep an eye on you before he left and that's exactly what I'm going to do."

"Liam got some boxes so you can pack your things tonight then get them after school, I just have a funny feeling your sister is involved with getting him out. Even with the protective order in affect I don't want to take any chances alright?" Niall says as he grasps my hand and soothes me.

"Where will I go?" I ask softly.

"I'll figure that out, you can stay in Harry's room until then-"

"I'd really rather not do that." I sigh and Liam nods knowingly.

"Don't worry about it ok?" He says as the sky begins to darken, "We should get going hm? Grab some dinner on the way?" He offers as he snatches my keys, "I'm driving though." Liam adds with a smirk, I roll my eyes and get up to hug Niall.

"If you see Michael please call the police then me." He whispers as he wraps his arms around me.

"Thank you so much." I whisper before kissing his cheek, we walk back to the parking lot and Liam grabs a bag from Niall's car before unlocking mine. He tosses his stuff in the back along with some boxes before climbing in.

I leave the choice of food up to Liam who decides that KFC will soothe our woes so he pulls up and orders $50 worth of food for the two of us as I chuckle at him. It was close to eight by the time we got home, Vanessa oddly enough wasn't there but the house was set up like she was expecting visitors. Liam looks around the house suspiciously before I lead him back to my room where Roxy was going crazy.

"Shh it's ok girl, I'll take you out." I whisper as I open her crate, "Go ahead and settle in, I'm going to take her outside for a minute." I say and Liam nods, Roxy takes off for the door and darts into the backyard as I hug myself and try to stay warm. Out of the corner of my eye I see a figure but when I turn my head it was gone, "Come on girl." I call out to Roxy wanting to get back inside immediately, she comes running so we go back inside and lock the door behind us.

"Roxy NO!" Liam shouts and I giggle as I walk into my room and see my dog wrestling a biscuit out of Liam's hands.

"Rox, leave it!" I command, she drops it and looks at me. "Bed." I say firmly, she walks over to her bed where she lays down and looks up at me. "Good girl." I praise her and give her a dog bone.

"She's gotten so big." Liam chirps with a mouth full of potatoes as I roll my eyes.

"She's a good girl, I've been taking her to obedience classes and I'm thinking about getting her licensed as a service dog." I reply as I sit down next to him, he nods and swallows his food before talking again.

"I think that's a good idea." Liam says smiling, I hand him the remote and he puts on some tattoo show as we eat. Afterwards he helps me pack up my closet and bathroom before loading them into my SUV leaving out what I'll need for school tomorrow, by the time we're done it's after 1am. "Is that it?" He asks as he falls onto the couch in exhaustion, I nod and flop on my bed.

"All we need to grab tomorrow is my painting supplies and Roxy." I shrug and look over at Liam who is now sound asleep drooling on my sequined pillow. "Goodnight Liam."

All night I tossed and turned, every little noise kept me awake and the fact that Liam snores like a mother fucker doesn't help. I was completely on edge but by 5am I passed out from exhaustion.

I could feel his hands around my throat, my sister snickers at me as her husband drains my lifeforce. I try to scream for help but it's no use, it's never been any use. He was always going to be the one to kill me, he killed my parents, he killed my baby.

And now he's killing me.

"Sara! Sara wake up!" Liam shakes me awake from my nightmare, my hands go to my throat and I look over at Roxy who has her head tilted in concern. "Are you ok?" He asks softly and I nod, he hands me a bottle of water which I gladly except and drink it quickly. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asks and I shake my head not wanting to waste another moment thinking about that piece of shit.

After drinking the water I glance at my phone and see that it's already past seven, "Shit I need to get ready for school." I say before jumping up, grabbing my clothes and running to the bathroom.

"I'll take Roxy out for you." Liam shouts through the door and I shout back thank you before getting myself somewhat ready for school. I wasn't going to try too hard, messy bun and some chapstick is about as far as I'm going to get today.

Once I was done Liam was putting Roxy in her crate, I give her a pigs ear before kissing her head and closing the door. We had just minutes to spare so I grab my backpack as we rush out the door. "What time do I pick you up?" Liam asks after pulling out of my driveway.

"One thirty will work since I don't have a sixth period with Harry being out of town." I shrug and he nods. Liam speeds towards the school and I smile when I see Emily waiting for us on the bench with a tray of coffees and pastries, Liam pulls up and puts my SUV into park before springing over to her. I chuckle at them as I grab my backpack and walk towards them. 

"I've gotta jet to the shop, thanks for breakfast baby." He says before kissing Emily, he gives me a nod before taking his coffee and muffin then heading to the car.

"So how was it sleeping with my boyfriend?" She teases and I roll my eyes.

"He snores." I mumble before taking a sip of coffee, "You have no idea how much I needed them Em, thank you." I gush and she smiles sadly.

"Nightmares again?" She asks and I nod, a lot of times when I've stayed over at her place I'd have nightmares. 

All because of him.

"It will be ok, Liam will make sure you're safe until Harry is back." She assures me and I sigh.

"That's just it Em, I'm sick of having to depend on other people."

"I know babe but when you have friends willing to help you should take it." Emily replies and I nod my head in agreeance, "I love you bitch, you need to stay safe." She says bumping into my shoulder and I giggle.

"Just because you put that so nicely I think I'll take a walk into a freeway." I smirk and she shakes her head as the bell rings, "I'll see you later." I hug her before downing the rest of my coffee, stuffing my muffin in my backpack and heading to class.

It was the fourth day in a row I hadn't seen Nathan at school, maybe he's just too embarrassed of his actions or something. After lunch I headed to a place I hadn't been to since my freshman year of high school.

"Sara? What are you doing here dear?"
