"Ah'ite Danny yhu ready ta' dip." I said fixing my chain.

"Yeah man, I'm ready." He said grabbing his backpack. Walking out befo I grabbed the keys walked out and I locked the door.

I unlocked the car, before he got in.

I walked over to the car and also got in.

I before I shut the door, glancing over to Danny before I randomly pulled up a lil side smile. I started the monitor without saying anything.

I don't like playing games and that's the type of guy I am, I don't really smile. I don't know why. I'm nice. To my brother and their girls of course, I only have one bro left.

Im not the type of guy that get dead serious bout things. But I do get serious. Y'all see the serious one day.

I just thought y'all should know a lil sum bout me.

"So why has school become so important." Danny spoke up after I stopped at the red light.

"I jus want ta' check it out," I said.

"Yhu wanna peep out da fine lookers huh." He said once the red light turned green and I drove off scoffing.

A looker is an attractive woman if you didn't know. That's what they are called in Arlington. That's the type of shit I'd laugh, or smile at. Cause it's some dumb funny shit.

"Boy yhu kno' me damn well nuff ta' not have time fo's hoes," I said.

And that's the truth. Relationships don't fit me.

"So yhu ain't left dat life behind yet?" He said as I made a turn.

"Nah, dat's one thang I'm gon' keep." I said once we reached the building, I followed the parking lot spotting one.

"Tay! Peep dat shordy ov'there. She look like she work at ah dollar store." He announced once we laughed. "Dat ass can be locked up."

"Boy yhu on some other shit," I responded

"Talkin' 'bout other shit, look at dat other chocolate shordy ov'there." He started before I glanced over to her and turned back towards him and shook my heading chuckling."Now dat's ma type right there."

"Err' one yo' type man," I said after parking the car, and getting out and shutting the door before locking it.

"Yooo." A familiar male voice came from out of nowhere, before I put my keys in my pocket and turned around. Malcolm? Yeah, Malcolm. "Wadup."

"Wadup bro, totally forgot yhu was ma neighbour." I dapped him.

"Forgot ta' soon huh." He laughed dapping Danny.

After all that, the sound of extremely loud music was coming from a distance. Didn't feel like a distance anymore when we glanced over a group of guys driving past and looking over to us.

"Who are they," I questioned avoiding contact and turning back to him.

"Bunch of thugs roaming 'round the street, I see ta'day is not ah good day fo' 'em ta' drive through wit' guns and killin' innocent teenagers, their leader don't really got time ta'day." He said once we walked away.

"Are there much here?" I questioned.

"Ah lot." He answered. "Da south is  as jus' bad if I have ta' be honest." He said before Danny and I stood dead at each other.

"Well, we'll cope," I said as we went on with our journey into the school.

"Tyty, Which party was da last yhu went ta'?" Trin required fixing her hair.

"Neddys princess tea party," I answered before we all busted into laughter whilst walking through the crowds.

"Well dat's really messed up girl, yo' life needs some upgradin'." She said before I shook my head giggling and thinking to my self.

"Trace," I said. "Where's Malcolm."

"I think outside wit' his mates." She replied. "Or maybe playin' ball."

"I bet Deejay ah lil fixin' somethang," Jordan spoke as we all chuckled looking at over at lexis.

"How's it goin' Lex?" I questioned

"We're not datin'." She declared rolling her eyes sadly.

"Don't worry girl he's probably waitin' fo' da right time." Trace said.

"But Babes Ef yuh feel like De boy cheating always let am know," Neddy said.

"Yeah, otherwise it's yo loss," Imani added.

"Don't worry, if he does I'll threaten him ta' sleep wit' an eye open," Trin announced as we laughed making our way into our class.

It's good to have friends like my girls. They're like family. Yes, we had fights. No friendships are perfect. And plus we no longer fight. We grown seniors.

let me give you a proper background information of my girls. Tracey is a light African American doll. She was born here in Chicago. No shit.

Kennedy, as y'all know is Jamaican and moved here when she was 3, my lil chocolate baby!

Imani is as Tracey, born here, been here all they're lives. Also light and blah blah blah.

Jordan is from Las Vegas. She moved here when she was 1 year old a beautiful chocolate toned baby girl. Well she is pre light for chocolate!

Alexis. She's from Manchester. She moved here, because of the gangbanging that happened there. Too many people died. And of course a light skin toned.
Bruh she's a doll!

And me? I'm from Philadelphia. My mother forced and threatened my dad to take me away if we didn't move here. I'm a light skin shawty.

And cute too. Hehe

I guess that's all.
