Lara's P.O.V. :
"What do you mean?" I asked raising my eyebrows. Apparently, the two females standing in front of me think that Shane loves me but haven't realized it yet.
"We mean that Shany loves you, Lara. I have seen how differently he behaves when he's around you. How the man who has never failed to shut his rivals up stays mum or stammers in front of you. If this ain't love then I don't know Lara what love is." Cameron said
"...really?" I asked more to myself.
"Yes, dear. He really loves you. My stubborn son just needs a little bit of sense of realization. And that my dear is your work to do." She said pointing her index finger towards me dramatically.
"Me? But how? I mean we are just guessing that maybe he loves me. We don't know for sure if he really loves me. And trust me, he doesn't love me." I said and looked out of the window to ignore their gazes.
He wouldn't have agreed for the marriage if he was in love with me. No, he doesn't love me.
I shook my head to get rid of this thought.
"Lara.." Cameron turned me to look into her eyes.
"...look at me and answer me honestly, don't you love him?" She asked with an authoritative tone
"That doesn't matter anymore-" I was cut off by her.
"Just answer me, Yes or No, Lara?" She asked again.
"Yes. Yes, I love him." I finally confessed
She grinned at me widely and took me into her embrace.
"Thank you for loving my stubborn brother. Thank you so much." She said wiping her tears of happiness.
I smiled back.
"But, that doesn't make any difference. He's marrying Tiara." I said sadly looking down at my feet
"He'll marry that girl if you'll let him to. But, you my dear, as far as I know, aren't one of those girls who sacrifice their love. You have the capacity to snatch your love from the devil." Mrs Adams said holding my shoulders and squeezing it encouragingly.
"What do you mean?" I asked again
"Cammy, I think we need to give some tips to my to-be-daughter-in-law. We need to teach her how to get her man back." Mrs Adams said looking at Cameron. They both giggled dramatically making my eyes furrow.
Next morning...
*Cara walked down to the living area where she finds Josh and Mrs Adams sitting on the couch and eating fruits.
She walked up to them and sits in between them.*
"Good morning Cara. You're feeling good?" Mrs Adams asked her lovingly
"Yes, grandma." She said rubbing her eyes from the back of her hand.
"Where's mommy?" She asked in a sleepy voice
Mrs Adams took her into her arms and made her sit on her lap
"Your mommy has gone out with Josh's mommy. She'll come back soon." She informed whilst caressing her hair lovingly
