jennie walked back inside of jisoo's room. however, she was surprised to find mina there, sitting on the edge of jisoo's bed. furrowing her brows, she walked over and set the bottle of water down on the nightstand before looking over at mina and jisoo, seeing how they were holding hands.

jennie didn't say anything about it, since she knew jisoo loved her and that she was going to break up with mina soon enough, but she still couldn't help, but feel jealous to the point she just wanted to slam the truth to mina's face, but kept silent instead.

"i'm okay, i promise." jisoo smiled as she tried to reassure mina, who then wrapped her arms around her.

one of jennie's eyes twitched in annoyance at the scene, though she grabbed the bottle of water and opened it effortlessly as she then placed it on the nightstand once again.

"okay so mina, i think jisoo could use the rest and besides you can welcome yourself out of the door." jennie told her with a fake smile.

honestly, jennie couldn't wait for mina just to leave - she was willing to pick her up and throw her out of the door, but since jisoo was there, she had to act nice.

or at least pretend to act nice.

mina rolled her eyes at jennie's statement before pecking her girlfriend's lips, which made jennie look away with an annoyed expression on her face.

once mina walked out of the room, jennie felt jisoo's gaze on her. glancing back at her, she saw how jisoo chuckled while looking at her.

she could tell jisoo knew she was jealous, though only looked away from her, pretending not to care.

"aw, is jendeuki jealous?" she heard that teasing tone come out of her lips, which made her look back at her and throw her a glare, to which jisoo only responded with a giggle.

"babe, are you willing to spend another few days in the hospital, because of sore legs?"

jisoo's smile turned into a frown as she glared at her, which jennie found both amusing and kind of cute.

"you wouldn't." she hissed and sat up properly rather quickly before grabbing the water bottle and showing it to her. "i'm not afraid to use this one you."

jennie smiled a bit, remembering the time when they had that one water fight, though snickered afterwards once thinking of something. "then i'll use that on you too. then you'd have to strip." a smirk spread across her lips, once seeing jisoo's red cheeks.

though she squeaked slightly once feeling a few drops of water land on her skin as she glared at jisoo, who was now holding the water bottle and giggling innocently.

"holy water to holify your sinful soul~"she playfully sang, while jennie felt more water drops come in contact with her skin.

"kim jisoo!"

she watched how jisoo laughed before taking a few sips of water before putting the cap back on and holding it close to herself.

jennie sighed and shook her head before glancing back at the clock. it was already late and jisoo needed her sleep.

walking over towards jisoo, she took the water bottle and placed it on her nightstand before pulling the covers over her. leaning forwards, she planted a small kiss on her forehead before pulling away.

"sleep, you doofus." she chuckled a bit as she ran her hand through jisoo's hair, watching her relax under her touch as she soon enough obeyed and fell asleep.

hearing her heart beat against her chest so strongly, it made her realize, who it was beating for. the person it has been beating since the beggining and it has never stopped. even after the breakup. it's beating for kim jisoo.
