"Your teacher is off sick so you have me for this class. You have these sheets to complete. That's basically the lesson." Mr B says, causing the troublesome girls to let out groans of disappointment.
"What's the point of this lesson?" Aimeeleigh asks.
"Yeah, we don't need English." Amelia says.
"Of course you do." Mr B replies.
"Yeah, but we know how to speak English." Aimeeleigh states.
"That would make sense seeing as we originate from that country." Amelia says.
"And unlike others, Ginger, Sunny, Miranda, Leslie. We speak proper English." Aimeeleigh says.
"Good one." Amelia says, then they high five.
"Anyway, what if we refuse to do the work?" Aimeeleigh asks.
"Detention." Mr B answers.
"We refuse." They respond in unison. Mr B adds his signature to the green, pre-filled out detention slips.
