Purple cuddles

Lance POV:

Keith, Pidge and I were walking to the red lions hanger. "Why do we need to do this again?" I complained.

"Because I want to check your lions, when I finish looking at yours you're free to go and I'll take a look at Keith's." Pidge said not looking up from her computer as she awkwardly held it walking.

They continued walking for a moment before Pidge stopped and squinted at her screen.

"Hey one sec guys, keep going I'll be right back. My main system lost connection with my laptop, I'm gonna go reroute it." Pidge said and before the two could protest, she took off.

'Dang it Pidge.'

I glanced at Keith who was already continuing to walk. "Wait up!" I whined.

When I caught up to him the door slid open and what we saw had both of our jaws on the ground.

Red and Blue are friggen cuddling!

'Oh quiznack.'

"Heh, blue, what are you doing?" I asked in a panic. Keith simply stood there blushing still in shock. In response blue only glanced at the two before continuing to cuddle with the other lion.

We heard the elevator ding echo from down the hall and knew Pidge would be here in just moments. That seemed to click Keith into reality.

Keith and I began to shout up at the lions in attempt to get through to them. "Red, out of here now! This is not the time! Go!" Keith instructed, though he didn't sound very authoritative considering he was red as a tomato and stuttering slightly in obvious embarrassment.

I however had a deferent approach. "C'mon Blue! C'mere girl! You can cuddle Red later! It's an emergency!" Blue raised its head actually showing stubbornness. "That's it Blue! C'mon!" Blue almost seemed to roll its eyes like a teenager. It nudged the sleeping lion next to it and they both stood up.

Pidge's footsteps were heard from that hall, she was only moments away from entering the room to a difficult to explain situation. "Red! Hide! Now!" Keith whisper yelled. Red took off but the two boys didn't bother to see what the stubborn lion did as pidge slid the doors open.

"Hey Pidgeon! You're back!" Lance said so enthusiastically it was obvious he was trying to cover something up. Keith  wanted desperately to slap him for making it so painstakingly obvious.

Pidge raised an eyebrow before smirking. "Hm? Trying to hide something?" She was looking passed them and both boys turned around to look and they both facepalmed. Red was trying to hide behind a pillar which was way to small for it to do so. Its head poked out the side with a look questioning if it was caught or not.

"It's not what you think-" I started.

"Save it, they were just cuddling." Pidge  set down her laptop like it was no big deal.

"How do you kno-" Keith started.

"I come in here sometimes and catch them cuddling all the time." She laughed.

Keith and I shared a glance to each other before glancing back at Pidge.

"Wait how long have they been doing these little... cuddle sessions?" I asked.

Pidge thought for a moment, "Couple months?"

I gasped and glared at Blue. "And you didn't tell me?!" I said in an offended tone.

Blue mere response to this was to sit down playfully and rub its face using its paw.

I continued to glare for a bit longer before a smile broke through and couldn't help myself. "Awe, I can't stay mad at you!" I yelled running and hugging old Blue's paw.

Keith was as red as his lion as his arms were folded and he turned away shunning her. His lion nudged his back and Keith's anger broke into a smile and a couple giggles that made my heart warm. "All right, come here." He said before spinning around and living on his lion.

I stopped and walked to Red checking the lion out a bit with my hand on my chin. "Hmmm, Alright Blue. Red has my approval!" I said proudly like a parent. Keith shook his head as he laughed. Keith had a cute laugh.
