Sammy's POV

"My dad is suspecting that I'm hanging out with the Jacks again" I said leaning against the lockers

"You were hanging out with them at a party! Nothing happened" Tammy said while Lexi and Dennis were over at her locker.

"But I can't start to hang out with him again" I said 

"I can't go to his parties anymore" I said looking at my phone to check if my hair was okay.

"My dad would be so disappointed to find out that I'm hanging out with him" I said

"You aren't even hanging out with him" She said 

"Guess what bitches" Dennis said coming over to us and Lexi followed

"We are going out to dinner tonight! It is my birthday today! I pick to go to Olive Garden" Dennis said and I groaned

"Johnson works tonight, doesn't he?" I said and Dennis just smiled 

"Yep, he's going to look all cute and Gilinsky works tonight" Dennis winked

"Gilinsky works at a pool as a lifeguard" I said putting my hands on my hips.

"Yep, I rented out the pool tonight. Dinner first and then pool. I also invited Johnson to swim with us and Gilinsky while he makes sure no one drowns" He said 

"Did they say yes?" Lexi asked

"Yep, both of them and I have the alcohol!" Dennis said and the bell rang.

"Meet me at my house after school" Dennis said and walked away with Tammy. I just looked at Lexi in shock. We both went our own way. I was walking down the hall when I saw my ex, Mason. He was talking to him friends and then they all looked at me. I ended it because he was cheating and abusing which isn't what I deserve.

"Hey, baby" Mason said and walked by my side

"Mason" I said looking at him

"Let's skip first period. You and me in my car right now" He said with a huge grin

"Mason, leave me alone" I said hitting his hand off me

"Mason Jordan" I heard Jack Johnson say

"Jack Johnson" Mason said turning around. I turned around also to see Johnson and Gilinsky standing there.

"She said leave her alone so leave her alone" Johnson said looking right at him

"This does not concern you, pretty boy" Mason said

"You are touching her and you guys are not together anymore!" Johnson said. I walked over to them and looked at the floor. Remembering every single memory of Mason.

FLASHBACK

"Mason, are you kidding me?" I asked and Johnson was sitting on my couch as he watched Mason and I yelled. 

"You are cheating on me with this pretty boy" Mason said and Jack was just rolling his eyes

"We are literally just friends and you knew we were working on a project together" I said

"Working on a project together, sureeee" He said 

"I'm just going to go, Sam" Jack said getting up

"No, don't leave! You are going to want to watch this" Mason said and Jack glared at him. I looked at Jack and when I looked back Mason slapped me across the face. He did it again and again.

"Oh hell no" I heard Jack say and he got up and punched Mason. I was holding my check and looking at Jack.

"Get the hell out of here, Mason" Jack said. Mason was holding his face and left the house immediately. Jack went to the kitchen and got an ice pouch and put it on my face.

"I know, I'm a wimp" I said

"No, I think you need to leave that jerk. You can do better than that" He said

"Sam, I'm home" I heard my dad say and he came into the living room. He looked at my check and then at Jack

"DAD!" I said

"Mason, did this and Jack is here to help me" I said

"Jack Johnson helping you? Hun, Mason treats you amazing" My dad said

"Sir, I did not touch your daughter" Jack said

"Get the hell out of my house and stay away from my daughter" My dad said

"DAD! He didn't do it" I said

"Johnson here is just telling you to blame it on Mason because if you don't he will hit you more" My dad said and Jack looked pissed

"Fuck you, old man! I would never ever hit Sam" Jack said making fists

"You must do this to a lot of girls" My dad said and Jack instantly punched him.

"Jack!" I said and Jack looked at me in fear

"Get out of my house and leave my family alone" My dad said and Jack grabbed his bag and left the house

END OF FLASHBACK

 Johnson pulled me away from Mason. Gilinsky just followed next to Johnson.

"I'm proud that you didn't punch that dick" Gilinsky said 

"Can't go back to punching people" I said laughing

"Your dad was the last person I hit and I tend to keep it that way!" Johnson said and Gilinsky and I just laughed. You might think why am I not pissed that he punched my dad? Well I was but I knew my dad deserved it. My dad is a snobby rich white old man. But ever since then my dad hated Johnson with a passion. 

"I should get to class but I'll see you guys soon" I said waving at them as I walked away

-Later that night-

We were sitting at Oliver Garden waiting for our waiter to come and take our orders and bring us breadsticks and salad.

"Hello, My name is Jack-" Johnson said as he came to our table but he looked at us.

"Yo, Johnson" Dennis said

"What are you guys wanting to drink?" He said with a smile and then looked over at me

"Lemonade" I said with a smile

"Sam" Lexi said

"Water and Dennis will have the same" Tammy said patting Dennis's shoulder and we all just laughed

"You look good all dressed up as a waiter" I said laughing

"Oh shut up, I looked way better shirtless" He said

"I'll be the judge of that tonight" I said playing with my fork

"Or course you will. You are always checking me out" He said 

"Don't flatter yourself, Johnson" I said

"Stop flirting and get us our drinks, Jack" Tammy said

"We are not flirting" Both of us said at the same time

"I'll be back in a couple" Jack said walking away
