Sammy's POV

A MONTH LATER

"Wow look at us in our new place!" I said with a big smile on my face 

"Thank you guys" Shayne said giving the movers a tip

"How is five hours from our hometown?" Shayne asked as he shut the door

"Perfect" I said

"I still can't believe that we live in a HOUSE!" I said jumping on him

"You are a dork" Shayne said kissing my forehead as I got off of him 

"I mean being able to move down here for work was great also" Shayne said

"I could see us having a family here" I said thinking about all of these memories we are going to make here.

"I can't wait for that chapter of our lives" Shayne said

"Little Shaynes and Sams" Shayne said smirking

"We are getting ahead of ourselves" I said

"Are we really though" Shayne said as he pulling the wrapping off the couch

"What do you mean?" I said laughing

"I don't think marriage is too far. I want to marry you and I can't deny that" Shayne said

"I get it for some reason this is going to be it's not you it's me. I'm just not ready" Shayne said sighing

"Babe, I thought we agreed on this" I said

"I love you more than anything" Shayne said

"I don't see marriage for like another year" I said 

"I see in six months" Shayne said

"Do we really have to do this, Shayne" I said

"You are right. We don't need to" Shayne said

"Thank you" I said sighing

"I'm going to take a shower" Shayne said

"Shayne" I said and he looked at me

"Baby, it's been a long day let's just get rest" Shayne said leaving the living room. It was only five in the afternoon but I knew he just needed space. My phone dinged with a text from Shayne's mom.

Lori: Hey hun! How did the move go?

Sam: Great :)

Lori: We are on our way over. Do you need us to get anything at the store on our way over from the hotel?

Sam: I think I should have enough stuff to make tacos for dinner tonight 

Lori: We got some cake and ice cream.

Sam: Great! I will see you guys when you get here! Can't wait for you all to see the place

Lori: Can't wait to see you! We will see you guys soon

I put my phone away and I searched through one of the boxes to find the air mattress. I went up to one of the guest room and started to blow one of them up. After that one I went into the other room that was going to be the office and I blew the other one up. I fixed them up and then went into my room.

I could hear Shayne's music blaring from the bathroom. He left his clothes all over the floor, I went to pick it up and his keys fell out of his pants pocket. I went to pick it up but under the keys was a little blue velvet box. I picked up the box and opened it to see a ring. I sighed as I closed the box.I put it back in his pant and just put his clothes back on the floor. I made our bed and then went down to the kitchen.

I started to make dinner and then ten minutes later Shayne came down in a towel. He walked into the kitchen and put his arms around me.

"You need to put clothes on before your family gets here" I said

"Oh fuck I forgot" He said groaning

"Go change" I said smiling

"Sam, you are worth waiting for. I'm not trying to rush you and we can wait till the time is right" Shayne said

"Thank you. That means a lot" I said kissing him

"Give me five good reason I shouldn't fuck you senseless on this counter top right now" Shayne said as he pulled me close and kiss me harder. 

"Please go change" I said

"How long are they staying with us again?" Shayne asked

"A week. But they are helping us unpack" I said shoving him and then his towel dropped. 

"Ew" I said and he rolled his eyes at me. The doorbell rang and he ran. I went to the door.

"HI SAM" Macy said with a big smile on her face and she ran to give me a hug.

"Hey guys" I said letting them in

"Hey family" Shayne said coming down dressed

"Shayne can you help with a couple of the bags in the back of the car" Wilson said and Shayne nodded

"Dinner is ready also" I said

"Thank you so much, Sam" Lori said giving me a hug. I went into the kitchen and started to make some of the plates.

"You got the table set up" Lori said as she grabbed the table cloth and covered the table.

"The movers built it for us" I said and grabbed the paper cups off the island.

"Thank you" I said

"No thank you, Sam. You are the one feeding all of us" Lori said and Wilson put the ice cream in the freezer.

"Thank you baby" Shayne said giving me a kiss 

"Everyone just come grab a plate and make your taco" Shayne said and I smiled

"I'll go bring their bags to their rooms real quick" I said

"Babe, we can deal with this after dinner" Shayne said

"Well I wanted to go wash up. I look like a mess" I said

"You are fine. Now eat" Shayne said and I nodded grabbing a plate

10:09pm

I was in bed as Shayne was brushing his teeth. He came out only in his boxers. He turned off the light and got in bed.

"We have a house and we can do whatever we want now" Shayne said, I knew he probably had a huge smile on his face.

"You want to have sex, don't you?" I asked laughing

"No never. How could you think that of me?" Shayne asked and I just laughed even more

"I know you so well that you probably want it on the counter in the bathroom" I said 

"I mean since you suggested it, I think we should" Shayne said hovering over me. 

"You horny man" I said

"Why you doing this to me, woman" Shayne said

"Maybe tomorrow" I said giving him a kiss and turning away
