Sammy's POV

"This party is just a bad idea" I said as Lexi pulled her dress down

"Just come with me" she said and I rolled my eyes. I was still in my pjs cuddle on my bed while she was doing her make up.

"Dennis is going so you will see him. You guys can hang out" I said

"Fine" She said finishing up and leaving my room.

JOHNSON'S POV

"This party sucks" I said to Gilinsky

"Well Lexi should be here soon so I'm doing good" he said fixing his hair

"Is Sam coming?" I asked and he grabbed a beer out of the fridge

"How would I know?" He said. We saw Lexi enter the party with her brother and Dennis. I walked over to them and Gilinsky was behind me.

"Hey Lexi. You look great" Gilinsky said and I put my hands in my pocket

"Is Sam still in the car. I can go help her?" I said and Dennis laughed

"She didn't want to come" Lexi said

"Oh great" I said looking at the floor. That makes me feel like shit. She probably didn't come because of me. I walked back to the kitchen and grabbed a drink.

"Hey buddy. I just think Sam was out of it tonight. It's not your fault" I heard Dennis say behind me

"Should I go see her?" I asked

"If you want to" Dennis said

"Jack Johnson" I heard Lilly say. I turned to see her in booty shorts and a crop top.

"Hey" I said laughing

"Zach just broke up with me" she said

"Oh sorry bout that" I said and Dennis rolled his eyes and left.

"It was nice seeing you. I got to go" I said. I drove to Sam's house and parked out front. I knew her room like the back of my hand, so I climbed up the tree and grabbed the key in the spot it always is in. I climbed in and shut the window. I turned around to see Sam standing there in a towel glaring at me. I got major butterflies and I feel super happy just being here.

"Hey" I said

"I want to be mad but I guess I missed you" She said

SAMMY'S POV

I stood there looking at him and believe me. I want to be pissed right now but I feel butterflies and I can't help myself but just smile at the fact of him being here.

"I thought you were at the party?" I asked

"Heard you didn't come so I ditched and thought I would join my home girl" he said and I just laughed

"Home girl?" I asked

"Yes, sir" He said and I just rolled my eyes

"I miss you like a lot. I miss the way we use to be" he said and I looked at him in shock.

FLASHBACK

"What is this?" Gilinsky asked as we stood at the edge of a cliff.

"It's a really cool spot" Johnson said and I looked at Izzy, who was Gilinsky's girlfriend at the time.

"We are jumping into the water?" She asked

"That's what you do" Johnson said while stripping

"Skinny dipping?" I asked

"You are speaking my language" Gilinsky said and started to take his clothes off. When they were naked they jumped into the water and I just looked down in fear. Izzy started to strip and my eyes grew wide.

"Don't go" I said but then she jumped. I looked down to see Johnson gone but Gilinsky making his way to his girlfriend. I felt arms around my waist and my back was suddenly wet.

"Jack" I said

"Come on" He said

"I'm scared" I said. He kissed me and I gasped, not prepared for it at all.

"Come with me down into the water" He said

"Take that clothes off also" he said

"NO" I said and he rolled his eyes

"Stop doing this to me" I said

"Doing what" He said

"Telling me that you don't like me and then kissing me" I said

"Sam" He said

"Just stop" I said grabbing my bag and walking away

"Sam, stop that shit" He said grabbing his briefs and putting them on.

"Stop what?" I asked

"You assume a lot of things. I never said I didn't like you"

"But you don't have feelings for me" I said

"You didn't ask" He said

"You just asked Kami to homecoming" I said

"I didn't need to ask" I said

"She's just eye candy" he said

"What I'm not?" I asked and he rolled his eyes. I just turned around and kept walking till he turned me around again.

"What" I said and he kissed me

"You are totally eye candy. I just don't want others to look at my candy" He said and I hit him and just walked away

END OF FLASHBACK

"It was fun while it lasted" I said laughing and he just looked at me

"Fuck Sam" He said

"What" I said

"What is going on in here?" My dad said standing in the door way. I gulped knowing he would be pissed

"Jack was just here to give me notes for history" I said

"He is just leaving" I said

"Actually" He said

"Jack" I said kicking him

"I want to take your daughter to prom" Jack said and my dad's face was so frustrated

"Well she isn't allowed to go" My dad said

"It's her senior prom" He said

"I don't think that is fair"

"Actually that's super mean"

"Okay let me put it this way. She isn't allowed to go with you, Johnson"

"Dad" I said

"Sir, I know you thought that I-" Jack started to say

"Don't finish that" My dad said

"I didn't do it! Sam knows I didn't" Jack said

"Get the hell out of my house" My dad said

"Sir" Jack said

"Just leave Jack. I will talk to you later" I said and Jack left.

"I hate you" I said to my dad

"It wasn't him"

"You didn't even give him a chance to explain" I said

"Leave" I said and my dad stood there for a second, but he left. Slamming the door on his way out. I guess he will never listen to me or anyone for that matter, but what can I do
