Sammy's POV

I was laying on one of the chairs looking at the sunset. I heard someone pull up a seat next to me and I looked and saw Jack sitting next to me. I just smiled at him and he looked at me scanning my body.

"You need a towel, Sam" Jack said

"I'm air drying" I said laughing

"Well I'm not letting you" He said standing up to go get a towel

"Johnson, just stay with me" I said and he turned around and sat back down.

"I just care about you and don't act like you don't know that" He said

"I wouldn't have stood up for you when Mason was there if I didn't care" He said playing with his hair

"I can't thank you enough for what you did" I said sitting straight up.

"It looks like Gilinsky and Lexi are getting pretty close" I said rubbing my arms

"He hasn't had a girlfriend for a couple years so he might be looking for someone to fill that gap" He said grabbing his flannel and throwing it at me. I put it on and he just smiled.

"Looks good on you, keep it" He said

"You won't have a shirt then" I said laughing

"I don't give a shit" he said

"You guys are adorable" Tammy said and we both looked at her

"I probably should head home" I said getting up

"You should go and change first" Tammy said

"I need to go change also so I can walk you over there" Jack said getting up also and I just walk with Jack away from Tammy.

"Are you sure you don't need your flannel back?" I asked

"I have a coat in my car that I can wear" He said

"Unless you want to take that also" He said with his cute smile

"I'll take only one thing because I'm your friend" I said and he just rolled his eyes

"You and me tomorrow, we can go bowling or something super cheesy" He said

"Fine, right after school?" I asked

"Yes, I'll just meet you at your locker" He said

"Perfect" I said walking into the changing room

-AFTER SCHOOL THE NEXT DAY-

"Wait what?" Tammy said. Lexi and Tammy were just staring at me

"If you dad finds out he will kill you!" Tammy said

"That's why her dad won't find out and you will keep your mouths shut" Johnson said from behind me

"We are just friends going out for the night" I said

"Sam, is this really the best decision?" Lexi asked

"Yes, let's go" I said pulling him away from them. I just looked at the floor while he was leading me to his car

"Sam this isn't a punishment" He said

"I know, Johnson. I want to hang with you" I said

We got to the bowling alley and he paid for us. We went to an open lane. But the lane next to us was full of teens from another school because I had never seen them before but they seemed to know Jack. I was putting my shoes on while one of the girls were over here talking to Jack while he was trying to put his shoes on.
