Sammy's POV

"Hey" I said meeting up with Lexi at a cafe downtown.

"Hey" She said as we walked in the cafe. 

"I'll get a table and you order?" She asked and I nodded going up to order.

"Hi, can I get a black tea with no sugar. I will get a chai tea latte also" I said handing my card.

"It will be out in a second" 

I walked down to get them and I picked them up to turn around to see both Jacks sitting down at the table and Lexi standing up. I slowly walked over.

"I didn't invite you for one, Gilinsky. Also why would you bring Johnson with" Lexi said

"Cause he wants Sam back" Gilinsky said

"But I'm done with him" I said and Johnson looked up at me

"You don't need to push yourself at me. I don't want you anymore" I said

"Can I just talk to you alone?" Johnson said getting up and grabbing my hands. I yanked my hands back.

"I thought you already talked to me about a week ago in front of Mike" I said

"Sam" Johnson said

"Can you guys leave and let Lexi and I hang alone?" I asked

LATER THAT DAY

"I don't want to go" I said sitting on my bed as Shayne was putting a top on.

"When was the last time you came out with me?" Shayne said looking at me

"Sam, Mike is asking his girl to marry him. I would like you to be there" Shayne said groaning as he grabbed his shoes.

"I'm just having a bad day" I said

"Lately everyday is bad, babe" Shayne said

"You were fine this morning. What is going on, baby?" He asked coming over to me and lifting my chin up

"Maybe I'm not ready to be in a relationship" I said and I could see Shayne's face drop

"What are you talking about, Sam?" Shayne asked

"Johnson was at the cafe that Lexi and I went to this morning. I'm confused, I don't like nor do I want him back but it makes me think am I ready to be with you" I said as tears streamed down my face

"Are you breaking up with me, Sam?" Shayne said trying to not let the tears come out of his eyes. When I looked up at him every moment of us came hitting me like a train.

FLASHBACK

Shayne and I sat at a table at the smoothie shop. He handed me my smoothie after he took a sip of it first. I smiled at him and he bit his lip.

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" I asked

"I know I've only been seeing you for two weeks but I like you" I said and he smiled

"I was hoping today I was going to be the one asking you to date me but yes I will be your boyfriend" Shayne said

"Good, I kinda knew you wouldn't say no to this face" I said and he rolled his eyes. He grabbed my face and gave me a peck.

END OF FLASHBACK

"I'm sorry" I said sighing and he looked scared as hell

"I don't want to leave you. I'm scared because I love you" I said and Shayne looked as shocked as I am that I said that to his face
