To be quite honest I never thought I'd be in bed having a late night conversation with Hunter Reece.

It started out in the DM's which led to me giving him my phone number cause he wanted to "hear my voice." I had zero objections to this, because I wanted the same thing.

The more we talked the more I stopped seeing him as this celebrity, but as an actual normal down to earth person.

"So Nadia, I never knew you worked at ESPN"

"No, actually I was there for an interview for the editorial assistant open position"

"Oh so you're a journalist?"

"Yep, I graduated from Florida International University with my journalism degree" I paused "it was the most practical thing"

"What do you mean when you say the most practical thing?"

"Well, I was really into jazz vocal performance, but my parents would have had a fit if I pursued a degree in music" I continued "that's the brave choice, I went for the practical one"

"You're a people pleaser aren't you?"

"Not necessarily, I just don't like confrontation" I say into the phone frowning

"Nadia you have to live for you" he sighed "do you even like journalism?"

"Yeah...to an extent"

"But it's not what you wanna do. I bet you have a beautiful voice" I could just imagine him was smirking through the phone

"And how would you know that?"

"It's an instinct" he says laughing "I have a sixth sense"

"Well excuse me Mr. Reece" I say smiling

"Oh we are using last names now, is that what we doing?" he says laughing "well Ms. Washington... when am I going to hear that beautiful voice of yours?" He says with a sultry tone

"I don't know" I say smirking

"C'mon sing a little something, please"

"Maybe another time...it's late" I say finding an excuse

"I'll hold you to that" his voice held a flirtatious tone.

"Do you have any secret talents yourself" conversation with him seemed to flow so easily

"Nah just the one talent everyone knows of" he says

"Oh c'mon not even one?"

"Nope...not that I know of off the top of my head"

"You suck" I say then I remember something "I better let you go, your girlfriend wouldn't like you staying up talking to another girl"

"Nah me and her broke up" ok so he's single "I want to focus on ball, I'm not really looking to date"
