When I started writing this book, I didn't imagine it hitting 1 million reads. That was like an impossibility to me, like a dream.
When I initially started updating, I honestly did not know where this book was going to go. I just knew where I wanted it to end. I knew where I wanted to take it, but I was a first time writer and I didn't know how to get there.
Slowly, but surely I began to figure it out.
As time went on, updating got easier and the readers started to grow slowly and I was like "what? People actually like this?" I was so shook.
It was y'alls comments and engagement with the story that really kept me going and excited to update.
Ideas for chapters were coming to my head so freaking fast. I'd be in bed half asleep and think of an idea and I had to get up write it down (I updated at 4 am once lmao).
It might sound weird, but I never felt like when I finished this book I'd miss the characters. I thought I'd just be able to move on with no problem. But after writing that epilogue, I can honestly say I cried knowing it was ending.
Like literally as I typed Hunter's proposal tears were coming down my face, it was wild 😂
It hurt, but I just knew it was time.
Ugh I'm crying now...sigh.
I just want to say thank you guys cause without y'all this story would have been deleted tbh, I didn't think people would like it.
The idea for this story has been in my head for a long time and I'd always hoped someone would write it cause like damn I'm tryna read a good book too lmao 😂😂
I figured no body would and I'm happy I decided to get this book out. I'm soo happy I was able write this for y'all and that you guys ended up enjoying it.
